Finalmente, o ultimo top 5 de 2018.

Yup, não há cá batons em bala no meu top. Praticamente não os uso, sem ser o ocasional menino da MAC, mas esses batons merecem um top 5 só para eles.

Sem mais demoras, aqui estão os meus batons favoritos de 2018.

5. Nars Power Matte Lip Pigments – American Woman

Comprei este batom nos últimos meses do ano, mas mesmo assim ele conquistou-me.

Tem uma fórmula muito líquida, mas é confortável, pois não seca na totalidade. O aplicador é um pouco esquisito, mas a cor compensa. É um nude frio escuro, perfeito para o inverno.

4. Lime Crime Velvetine – Riot

A Lime Crime tem uma das minhas fórmulas de batons líquidos favoritas.

É muito líquida, mas seca em segundos e na totalidade, não se mexe, nem depois de almoçar um mega hamburger.

Riot é também uma das minhas cores favoritas, e já tenho uma grande coleção de dupes de comprova isso, como podem ver os swatches aqui.

3. Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick – Backtalk

Surpreendi a mim própria por usar tanto este batom.

É um simples nude rosado, a cair um pouco para o frio, com uma consistência meio mousse, que seca na totalidade e deixa os lábios confortáveis.

Vai ser, muito provavelmente, o primeiro batom que vou usar ate ao fim este ano.

2. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick – Mannequin

Já é um favorito à muitos anos.

Este é o meu nude. Ele consegue cancelar os meus lábios sem me deixar “morta”.

Eu tenho muitos batons do Jeffree, mas este é o único que vou voltar a comprar ate que deixe de estar disponível.

1. Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick – Truffle

Este foi o batom que mais usei em 2018.

Eu tenho uma coleção infinita de batons, mas dava por mim a usar o Truffle 4/5 vezes na mesma semana. Foi assim que descobri o quanto gosto dele.

Ele tem uma consistência parecida aos batons da Urban Decay, mas seca (e dura), como se fosse um Velvetine da Lime Crime.

Com o verão a acabar é fácil ver quais foram os meus companheiros dos dias solarentos. Estes meninos andaram sempre comigo na mala, com a exceção da paleta, obvio, e o iluminador que varia de semana para semana.

Tarte Lights Camara Lashes – Na ultima encomenda que fiz na Tarte recebi esta miniatura de uma das mascaras bestsellers da marca. Percebo o porque de meio mundo adorar esta menina, ela dá um volume natural e aguenta o dia todo. Vou escrever um post detalhado sobre ela mal chegue a versão em full size cá a casa.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation – I love this foundation. It is super easy to apply and retouch with the bonus of having a great coverage, duration and a natural finish. If you’re curious about it check out my detailed post here.

Benefit Ready, Set, Brow – The more I use this eyebrow gel, the more I like it. The brush is my favorite, it covers all the little hairs without messing the skin and they stay put all day. If you want to know more about Benefits eyebrow products click here!

Tarte Lights Camara Lashes – In my last Tarte order I received this mini of one of their bestsellers mascaras. I now realize why half the world loves this baby, it gives a natural volume and it lasts all day. I’ll write a more detailed post when I get the full size version.

Benefit Cheek Parade – Esta foi a minha melhor compra este ano! Tenho blushes incríveis num sitio só, de tamanho original por muito menos dinheiro. A minha parte favorita é usa-la também nos olhos quando tenho que sair de casa depressa. Podem ver o post aqui!

Avène Emulsion SPF 50+ oil free – Este foi o primeiro protetor solar que comprei para usar no dia a dia. Eu tinha 17 anos e achei-me uma senhora por cuidar da minha pele, claro que com o passar do tempo o protetor solar foi posto de parte e só nos últimos 3 anos é que voltei a usá-lo religiosamente. Este custou 14€ na Primor e é incrível para peles mistas, não nos deixa oleosas mas também não tem aquela textura estranha que admite ser “mate”. Vou o comprar outra vez mal este chegue ao fim.

Benefit Cheek Parade – This was my best purchase this year! It has an incredible blush range in one place, all of them full size for a quarter of the price. My favorite part is wearing it on my eyes when I have to leave home quickly. You can see the full post here!

Avène Emulsion SPF 50+ oil free – This was the first sunscreen I bought to use on a day to day basis. I was 17 years old and I found myself very mature for taking care of my skin, of course that over time the sunscreen was set aside and only in the last 3 years did I use it again religiously. This cost € 14 at Primor and is incredible for combination skin. It doesn’t leave us feeling oily but also it doesn’t have that super strange texture that claims to being "matte". I'll repurchase it again for sure.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Rose Matter – Esta cor é tão gira para esta altura do ano! É um rosinha quente que combina com os todos os meus blushes vibrantes, sejam rosa, laranja ou coral. Podem ver a cor aqui!

Huda Liquid Matte Bombshell – O meu batom liquido favorito! Nem acredito que a Huda chegou a Portugal! Podem esperar muitos posts sobre os produtos dela porque tenho uma obsessão gigantesca com estes batons. Podem ficar a saber tudo aqui!

Kat Von D Bachelorette – Este batom também mereceu estar no meu post de favoritos de verão do ano passado (aqui), por isso sabem que é mesmo adorado. Cores destas ficam lindas no ano inteiro, mas no verão não saem dos meus lábios!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Rose Matter – This color is so cute for this time of year! It is a warm rose that compliments with all my vibrant blushes, be it pink, orange or coral. You can see the true shade here!

Huda Liquid Matte Bombshell – My favorite liquid lipstick! I cannot believe that Huda is already sold in Portugal! You can expect many posts about her products because I have a gigantic obsession with these lipsticks. Check out my full review here!

Kat Von D Bachelorette – This lipstick also deserved a spot on my summer favorites post from last year (here), so know it’s truly loved. Colors like these look beautiful all year long, but in the summer they do not leave my lips!

Eu sei que esta marca é um bocadinho controversa, mas eu gosto verdadeiramente destes batons. Atualmente tenho seis, dos quais Mannequin é o meu favorito (se querem um nude perfeito agarram-no). Adorava poder aumentar a coleção, mas metade das cores não me interessam e a outra metade eu já tenho em outras marcas.

I know that this brand is a bit controversial, but I truly love these lipsticks. I currently own six, and Mannequin is my favourite of all of them. I would love to increase my collection, but half of the colours are too weird and the other half I already own from other brands.

Quando a Maquillalia começou a vender Jeffree Star eu tive que encomendar uma cor que já tinha na lista há muito tempo: Doll Parts. É um rosa médio com um subtom frio. Eu estava com medo que fosse muito barbie para mim, mas felizmente consigo o usar sem problemas.

A fórmula é fantástica. Parece que não temos nada nos lábios, dura imenso, não se desfaz e sempre opaca. No entanto não há consistência na gama de batons. O meu Celebrity Skin (post aqui) é quase uma mousse, o Androgyny (post aqui), é líquido como o Doll Parts, Mannequin, Rose Matter e o Unicorn Blood, mas apenas os 3 últimos têm perfume, e esses foram os únicos que comprei no site da Beautilish(post aqui).

When Maquillaliastarted selling Jeffree Star I had to order a shade that was on my wishlist for a while: Doll Parts. It’s a medium cool toned pink. I was a bit scared that it would be too Barbie-ish for me, but fortunately, I can wear it just fine.

The formula is amazing. It looks like there is nothing on the lips, lasts a long time, it doesn’t crumble off and it’s always opaque and pigmented. But I have noticed a slight inconsistency within the colour range. My Celebrity Skin (post here), is just like a mouse, Androgyny (post here), is very liquid just like Doll Parts, Mannequin, Rose Matter and Unicorn Blood, but only the last 3 have perfume, and those are the only ones that I ordered from Beautylish(post here).

Chegou o último top 5 e como é obvio, tinha que ser sobre batons líquidos! 2016 Foi o ano de batons líquidos, e parece que entramos em 2017 com mais lançamentos marcados (temos Urban Decay e Make Up For Ever com uns no forninho). Enquanto esses não chegam, eu vou vos mostrar os meus favoritos do ano passado!

It is over! This is my last top 5, and of course, we had to end with liquid lipsticks! 2016 Was the year of liquid lipsticks, and it looks like we entered 2017 with more release dates, being Urban Decay and Make Up For Ever the ones that I’m especially excited for, and while we are waiting for those, I’m going to show you my last year’s faves!

5. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bacca – Aquela cor de amora que tenho em 5 batons diferentes. Eu gosto muito desta fórmula da Stila. É bastante líquida, seca na totalidade e tem muito pigmento (Apesar de não o aparentar no swatch). Posso vos garantir que fica lindo nos lábios.

4. ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Mama – Estes batons são os mais viciantes de todos. Baratinhos, com uma ótima formula e todas as cores do universo. Eu adoro este tipo de cor e acho que todas as meninas experimentar um tom laranjinha destes. Podem ver mais cores aqui!

3. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Mannequin – Os batons do Jeffree Star são os mais confortáveis da lista, mas também os mais controversos. Eu adoro esta cor, um nude rosinha super feminino que vai escurecendo com o passar do tempo. Post aqui!

2. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II – Pode não ser a primeira cor que comprariam da Kat Von D, mas esta é mesmo a minha favorita. Aquele laranja baço e acastanhado é dos meus tons favoritos. Post aqui!

1. Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paint in 24seven – Este é o meu batom favorito de sempre. Não percebo o porque de esta marca ser tão esquecida, pois estes batons são mesmo qualquer coisa. 24seven é um rosinha lindo, que pode não parecer nada de especial, mas eu não o consigo largar dia após dia. 5. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bacca – That typical berry shade that I already own in 5 different brands. I really like this formula from Stila. It is very liquid at first but it dries completely and it has a lot of pigment (even if it doesn’t show on the swatch). I can guarantee you that it looks amazing on the lips.

4. ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Mama – Theses lipsticks from Colourpop are addictive. They are inexpensive, with a great formula and with the biggest range of shades on the market. I love this type of colour, and if you’re looking for a orange toned lipstick, then give this one a try. Post here!

3. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Mannequin – Jeffree Star has the most comfortable lipsticks on this list, but also the most controversial ones. I wore Mannequin a lot on the summer. It is just a pale nude pink would complement easily any colourful eye look that I did. Post here!

2. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II – It might not be the first lipstick that you’d get from Kat Von D, but it really is my favourite from the brand. This dusty orange/brown/nude is amazing, even more so, if you have green eyes. Post here! 

1. Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paint in 24seven – This is my all-time favourite liquid lipstick. I do not understand why this brand is so forgotten because these lipsticks are really something else. 24 Seven is a gorgeous pink, which might not look like anything special, but I cannot stop using it day after day. Hoje trago-vos as minhas últimas comprimas dos batons do Senhor Jeffree Star.

Today I’m going to show you my last lipstick purchases from Mr Jeffree Star.

Como já vos disse aqui algumas vezes, eu adoro os Velour Liquid Lipsticks. Tenho 2 deles, Celebrity Skin e Androgyny, e posso vos garantir que os volto a comprar quando eles chegarem ao fim! Mas, ultimamente o Jeffree tem estado no centro das atenções pelos piores motivos (podem ver este vídeo para perceber melhor).

Eu não sou muito de seguir o “hate” nestas situações. Eu adoro maquilhagem acima de tudo, e não me deixo muito guiar pelo que dizem ou não dos donos das marcas. Já o caso da Gerard Cosmetics foi diferente para mim. Não suporto essa marca porque gastei o meu dinheirinho em produtos que não valiam nada (podem ver aqui o meu post). 

Passado uns meses aparece a Kat Von D com um video sobre o Jeffree... Confesso que a prefiro de longe, mas em relação aos batons eu adoro os 2, por isso vou continuar a enriquecer ambas as marcas independentemente do drama.

Like I’ve mentioned a lot of times, I love the Velour Liquid Lipsticks. I own 2 of them, Celebrity Skin and Androgyny, and I can guarantee you that I’ll buy then again if I ever run out of them! But lately Jeffree has been in the centre of attention for all the wrong reasons (check out the Stephanie Nicole vídeo if you haven’t already). 

I don’t generally follow the “hate” in these situations. I love makeup above all else and I don't let my judgement be clouded by gossip on brand owners. Now the case of Gerard Cosmestics is completely diferente for me. I don’t suport that brand because I wasted my money on products that are worthless (you can read the full story here). 

After a couple of months Kat Von D makes a video about Jeffree... I confess that I prefer her by far, but I love both of their liquid lipsticks, because of that I'll keep making them rich even after all the drama.

E pronto, acabei por comprar 2 cores novas, Mannequin e Rose Matter e o clássico Unicorn Blood. A formula é consistente com o meu Androgyny, mas mais liquida do que o meu Celebrity Skin. Duram imenso tempo nos lábios sem os secar, não causam desconforto e não se esfarelam.

A pior parte para mim é mesmo o cheiro, segundo a marca é Root Beer, mas os meus primeiros batons não têm qualquer cheiro. Não é nada de muito exagerado, mas durante os primeiros 10 minutos é impossível não notar.

And there it is, I ended up getting 2 of the new shades, Mannequin, Rose Matter and the classic Unicorn Blood. The formula is consistent with my Androgyny but more liquid then my Celebrity Skin. They last a long time on the lips without leaving them dry, they’re comfortable and don’t crumble off.

The worst part for me is the scent. According to the brand they have a root beer scent, but my first ones have no smell at all. It’s nothing strong, but it’s pretty noticeable on the first 10 minutes.

Mannequin é um nude rosado mais claro que o celebrity skin, mas que tende a escurecer com o passar do tempo. É o que tenho usado mais vezes dos 3.

Rose Matter é um rosa perfeito para a primavera/verão. Consegue dar uma ar jovem e radiante à pele sem ser berrante. Gosto muito dele para o trabalho.

Unicorn Blood é um bordaux escuro mate que não sai do lugar e com uma cobertura perfeita. Era esta cor que eu queria quando comprei o Wicked da Lime Crime, que é demasiado liquido e patchy para mim.

Mannequin is a pinky nude lighter than celebrity skin, that tends to darker up as the day goes on. It’s the one I use the most of all the 3.

Rose Matter Is a mid tone pink perfect for the spring/summer. It can give a young and radiant look without being to out there. I love to wear it to work.

Unicor Blood is a matte dark bordeaux that stays in place and covers the lips perfectly. This is the shade that I wanted when I got Wicked from Lime Crime, that is to liquid and patchy for me.

Zoeva Bamboo Set Vol 2 – Este set tem tudo o que eu preciso! Pincéis de rosto que eu até tenho falta e pincéis de olhos que nunca são demais!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer – O meu lápis da Kiko está mesmo a acabar e precisa de um substituto. Pode ser que quando comprar a paleta da ABH tenha coragem para trazer também o Brow Definer.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette – É tão linda! Finalmente a ABH lança uma paleta permanente, e sinceramente, acho que é a mais bonita de todas. Vou ter que a agarrar na CultBeauty, Beautylish ou Beautybay.

Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter – Para quem não conhece, este é um iluminador em stick da Benefit, bem dourado e intenso. A culpa é toda da Desi Perkins! Ela está sempre a usar e a abusar dele e eu qualquer dia vou à Sephora e trago um para casa!

Makeup Geek Blushes – Eu não preciso de mais blushes…. Mas estes são tão lindos! A Makeup Geek relançou os seus blushes em Junho e eu estou mortinha para agarrar algum. São um total de 20 cores separadas em 4 tipos de tons de pele: porcelain, light, medium e dark.

Makeup Geek Blushes – I don’t need more blushes… But these are so pretty! Makeup Geek re-released their blushes in June and I’m dying to try them out. It’s a total of 20 shades, divided by 4 skin tones: porcelain, light, médium and dark.
