Já alguma vez tentaram comprar pincéis
da Zoeva? Eles são fantásticos, mas
há tantos que eu nem sei por onde começar.
Have you ever tried to buy Zoeva brushes? They are fantastic, but
there are so many options that I do not even know where to start.
Há uns meses atrás a Maquillalia fez uma promoção de 3 por 2 em praticamente todas as suas marcas de pincéis, incluído a zoeva. Se vocês já seguem a loja, sabem que por norma esta marca é sempre excluída das promoções, então o meu coração começou a bater um bocadinho mais depressa.
Eu sabia que precisava de um pincel novo para base e corretor, já que os meus da Real Techiques estão a precisar de uma merecida reforma. Sim, eu sei que meio mundo anda in love com a Beauty Blender, mas eu gosto de me sentar para me maquilhar e não quero andar a passear pela casa a molhar esponjas.
Fiz a típica pesquisa no google à procura de fotos e reviews de todos os pinceis de base da zoeva. Claro que apareceram algumas, mas não encontrei comparações entre modelos e fotos detalhadas de cada formato ou densidade do pincel.
O meu cérebro de blogger entra em ação em momentos como estes e diz: compra todos os pincéis e faz um post à tua maneira. A última vez que isto aconteceu comprei todos os pigmentos da Makeup Revolution para fazer um post detalhado e 1 mês depois de o lançar a marca descontinuou o produto #awesomesause. (Está aqui o post caso queiram sentir pena de mim).
Bem… aqui estão 6 pincéis de base da zoeva. O que é que eu vou fazer com estes pinceis depois deste post? Não sei bem, mas a minha irmã vai se chegar à frente de certeza.
A few months ago, Maquillalia did a 3 for 2 promotion on all brush brands, including zoeva. If you follow that store, then you know that this brand is usually excluded from promotions, so my heart started to beat a little faster.
I knew I needed a new foundation and concealer brush since mine from Real Techiques are in need of a well-deserved retirement. Yes, I know that half the world is in love with Beauty Blender, but I like to sit down to do my make-up and I do not want to walk around the house to wet sponges.
I did the typical Google search for photos and reviews of all zoeva foundation brushes. Of course there were some, but I did not find comparisons between models and detailed photos of each shape or density of the brush.
My blogger brain comes into action at times like these and tells me to “buy all the brushes and make a post your way”. The last time this happened, I bought all the pigments from Makeup Revolution to post detailed pictures of each and a month later after posting it, the brand discontinued the product #awesomesause. (Here is the post if you want to feel sorry for me).
Well ... here are 6 zoeva foundation brushes. What am I going to do with these brushes after this post? I'm not sure, but my sister is going to call me for sure.
Os old
school, o 102 Silk Finish e o 104 Buffer. Estes formatos já são
bem conhecidos na blogosfera. O primeiro é uma versão melhorada da buffing brush da real tecniques (que
não entra nas fotos porque está para lá de lastimável). É mais macio e tem as cerdas
um bocadinho mais altas, tornando-o mais flexível. É sem dúvida o meu favorito
dos 6.
O 104 é o dupe do famosíssimo F80 da Sigma que nunca tive oportunidade de tocar. É parecido ao anterior,
mas não me convenceu tanto. É menos denso, menos macio e cobre uma maior área
na pele. Não é horrível… mas depois de ter o 102 não vejo necessidade de ter
este.
The old school, the 102 Silk Finish and the 104 Buffer. These formats are already
well known in the blogosphere. The first is an improved version of the buffing brush from real techniques
(which does not go into the photos because it's beyond pitiful). It is softer
and has longer bristles, making it more flexible. It is without a doubt my
favorite of the 6.
The 104 is the dupe of the most
famous brush ever the Sigma F80. It is similar to the previous
one, but it did not convince me so much. It is less dense, less soft and covers
a larger area on the skin. Not horrible ... but after own the 102 I do not feel
the need to own this one.

103 Defined Buffer e o 117
Petit Defined Buffer são a mãe e o filho dos pincéis em ângulo. O 103 é
basicamente o 104 na diagonal, e ainda assim consigo preferir o 103 por ter cerdas
mais curtas e por ser mais denso… mas não é tão macio como o 102.
O 117 é o que tenho usado para esbater
o corretor. Encaixa na perfeição na parte inferior dos meus olhos e é rápido a espalhar
o produto à volta do nariz e queixo.
103 Defined
Buffer
and 117 Petit Defined Buffer are the
mother and son of the angled brushes. The 103 is a cut version of the 104, and
yet I prefer 103 because it has shorter bristles and it is denser... but it is
not as soft as the 102.
117 I use to blend my concealer. It
fits perfectly underneath my eyes and it’s quick to spread product around my
nose and chin.

112 Face Curve e 116
Teardrop Cover são… os restos vá… aqueles que vieram por arrasto na
promoção da maquillalia. O 112 é uma nova tentativa de design do pincel de base das nossas mães. Faz o trabalho, mas
demoramos mais tempo se queremos nos livrar das marcas do pincel.
O 116 é mais largo e espalmado do
que o 117 e o pincel mais denso de todos os 6. É quase um expert face brush da real techniques. Este pincel vai vos dar uma
grande cobertura, ou se preferirem, podem fazer como eu que o uso para fazer
contorno com produtos líquidos (fiz uma vez, mas conta).
112 Face
Curve and
116 Teardrop Cover are... the
remains... those who came by association in the maquillalia promotion. The 112
is a new attempt to design the foundation brush of our mothers. It does the
job, but it takes longer if we want to get rid of the brush marks.
The 116 is wider and flatter than the
117 and the thickest brush of all 6. It is almost an expert face brush from real techniques. This brush will give you a lot
of coverage, or if you prefer, you can do as I do and use it to contour with
liquid products (I did that once, so… you know, it’s something).
