Strobing, a moda do momento, é simplesmente iluminar a pele sem contornar ... Por outras palavras, depois do lançamento de 2000 paletas de contorno para o mercado foram agora inventar outra moda para nos fazer gastar mais dinheiro.
Não é que eu me possa queixar, pois sou fanática por iluminadores e ando sempre à caça de um novo :P Assim sempre tenho uma desculpa para trazer outro cá para casa... "É para fazer Strobing, claro!"
Ora a Hourglass aproveitou a deixa e lançou 4 iluminadores, os Ambient Strobe Lighting Powders:
Brilliant РO dourado; Euphoric РO p̻ssego; Incandescent РO p̩rola; Iridescent РO rosa.
E eu escolhi o ultimo, pelo simples facto de faltar um bom iluminador rosado na minha colecção.

It’s not that I can complain... I am a big fan of highlighters and I’m always on the hunt for a new one :P Now I have an excuse to bring home another one... "It’s for Strobing, obviously!"
Well, Hourglass took advantage of that and released 4 new highlighters, the Ambient Strobe Lighting Powders:
Brilliant – The gold one; Euphoric – The peach one; Incandescent – The pearl one; Iridescent – The pink one.
I picked the last one, for the simple fact that I lack a pink toned highlighter on my collection.
A Houglass não desiludiu, é um pó fantástico que pode ser usado seco ou molhado, consoante a vossa preferência de intensidade. Eu gosto muito de o usar seco, fica mais discreto, natural e tão lindo!
O Iridescent Strobe Light não é excessivamente rosa (não se parece com um blush), e enquadra-se lindamente no meu tom de pele, principalmente quando evito usar base (ou seja, praticamente todos os dias).
Hourglass did not disappoint, this a amazing soft powder that can be used wet or dry, depending on the intensity you want. I prefer to use it dry, it’s more discrete, natural and so, so gorgeous!
The shade Iridescent Strobe Light is not overly pink (it’s not a blush, if you’re wondering), and it blends nicely into my skin tone, specially when I’m not using foundation (which is basically everyday).
A embalagem é a já tão famosa da
marca, mas desta vez em prateado. É resistente, pesado e claro, propicio a
marcas dos dedos. Os iluminadores tem 4.6g ao contrário dos Ambient Lighting Powders
que têm 10g, e a diferença de preço também é considerável, 34£ e 38£ na SpaceNK (aproximadamente 43€ e 48€).
Qual dos 2 gosto mais?
Como
tenho a cor mais clara e menos brilhante dos Ambient Light Powders, não sei se
consigo responder a essa pergunta, pois para mim são 2 pós completamente
diferentes no que diz respeito à sua função. O Ambient Lighting aplico no rosto
inteiro, o Ambient Strobe só aplico nos pontos altos. No entanto, se formos
comparar preços, temos uma diferença de 5€ para ter mais do dobro do produto.... Só
por esse motivo, acho que não comprou outra cor dos Ambient Strobe Lighting Powders.

packaging is just just like the others, but this time in silver. It’s
resistant, heavy and, of course, very fingerprinty. The Ambient Strobe Powders
have 4.6g of product unlike the Ambient Lighting Powders that have 10g, there
is also a price diference, the first ones are 34£ and the others 38£ on SpaceNK (close to 43€ e 48€).
Which one I like more?
Since I have the lightest and less shimmery shade from the
Ambient Lighting Powders, I don’t know if I can answer that. To me they’re 2
completely different powders, one I use all over (Ambient Lighting) and the
other just for the high points of the face (Ambient Strobe). But, if I was to
do the math, we’re paying 4£ more for the double of product... Just because of
that I don’t think that I would buy any other shades of the Ambient Strobe
Lighting Powders.
