Pink Ivory Makeup: Colletion

Os Ultra Matte Lips da Colourpop são os melhores batons líquidos por um preço tão baixo eu já experimentei (ignorando a paulada da alfandega). Por 6$ podem escolher um batom da vaaaaasta coleção que a CP tem, e acreditem que vão os querer todos.

Eu já fiz algumas encomendas, e sempre que faço uma nova acabo por adicionar outra cor à minha coleção de batons líquidos. Estas são todas as aquisições que ainda não vos tinha mostrado por aqui.

The Ultra Matte Lips from Colourpop are the best liquid lipsticks at such a low price that I've tried (ignoring the usual customs fees). For 6 $ you can pick a lipstick from the vaaaaast collection that CP offers, and believe me, you will want them all.

I've already made some orders, and every time I make a new one I end up adding a new color to my collection of CP liquid lipsticks. These are all the acquisitions that I have not yet shown you.

Bianca | Are & Be | Bad Habit | Bumble | Airplane Mode

Bianca – É um nude rosado pálido que foi descontinuado no ano passado. Não o uso tanto quanto ele merece porque acabo por preferir outras versões desta cor, como o Crush da ABH e o Truffle da Dose of Colours.

Are & Be – Este é o batom que mais me engana. Pego nele a pensar que estou a escolher um fúchsia, mas saio de casa com os lábios roxo escuro. De todos, este é o que uso menos vezes.

Bad Habit – Magenta vibrante, ou framboesa como a marca descreve. Adoro cores como esta, ficam lindas em qualquer tom de pele e em qualquer ocasião.

Bumble – O meu batom favorito da Colourpop. É um laranja que apesar de parecer berrante na foto, fica lindo na pele. É muito parecido com Lolita II da KVD (outro favorito).

Airplane Mode – Este é outro nude, mas muito mais quente e com um toque de pêssego. Comprei-o no verão há dois anos quando saiu a Peach Collection, e entretanto já foi descontinuado.

Bianca – It's a pale pink nude that was discontinued last year. I do not use it as much as it deserves because I end up preferring other versions of this colour, such as Crush from ABH and Truffle from Dose of Colors.

Are & Be – This is the most deceiving lipstick that I own. I grab him thinking that I'm picking a fuchsia, but I leave the house with dark purple lips. I use this one the least.

Bad Habit – It’s a vibrant magenta, or raspberry as the brand describes. I love colours like this one, they look beautiful on any skin tone and on any occasion.

Bumble – My favourite lipstick from Colourpop. It’s an orange shade, that although it might appear vibrant in the photo, it looks beautiful on the skin. It's a lot like Lolita II from KVD (another favourite).

Airplane Mode – This is another nude but much warmer and with a hint of peach. I bought it in the summer two years ago when the Peach Collection came out, but it has since been discontinued.

Eu adoro esta marca, e estou aqui ansiosa para que ela chegue à nossa Sephora. É incrível todo o crescimento que a CP tem considerando que tem apenas cerca 3 anos.

No entanto não há que negar que os novos lançamentos irritam um pouco, principalmente se gostam de ter coleções completas ou apenas produtos da linha permanente que podem recomprar as vezes que quiserem, já que a CP está constantemente a descontinuar produtos e a relança-los com pequenas alterações ou nomes diferentes.

Se são fans de batons líquidos então precisam de experimentar estes, principalmente se gostarem de dupes, já que grande parte das cores da CP são famosas por serem idênticas a cores da Kylie Cosmetics, Lime Crime e Anastasia Beverlly Hills.

I love this brand, and I’m here anxious for it to come to our Portuguese Sephora. It’s incredible all the growth that CP has considering that is only about 3 years old.

However, I find the new releases and the discontinuation of products a little irritating. I’m the kind of girl that likes to own complete collections or, when that is not possible, to only own products from the permanent range that can repurchase as often as I want.

Nevertheless, if you are a liquid lipstick fan, then you need to try these out, especially if you love dupes, since most of the CP lipsticks are famous for being identical to Kylie Cosmetics, Lime Crime and Anastasia Beverly Hills products.

Lembram-se de quando toda a gente fazia vídeos no Youtube a mostrar a coleção de batons da MAC? Eu passava horas a ver esses vídeos e sempre acreditei que se fosse ter um canal, o primeiro vídeo que ia publicar seria um deste género. Mas como esse dia não chegou, está na altura de vos mostrar por aqui!

Neste momento tenho 21 batons da linha permanente e 3 de edições limitadas que não merecem grande destaque (são muito, muito, antigos e eu só os guardo por motivos sentimentais pois já nem os consigo usar).

Eu sempre fui obcecada com a MAC, começou pelas sombras, passou para os blushes e iluminadores, mas o foco principal foi sempre os batons!

A MAC oferece um zilhão de cores em 8 acabamentos diferentes: Frost, Matte, Retro Matte, Amplified, Satin, Lustre, Cremesheen e Glaze. Se estão à procura do vosso primeiro batom da MAC a parte fundamental é escolher um acabamento, porque muitas vezes as cores repetem-se em acabamentos diferentes.

Pessoalmente, quando comecei a interessar-me por estes batons eu adorava os acabamentos Amplified e Creemesheen, são super cremosos e confortáveis e a única diferença é que os primeiros têm um pigmento muito mais intenso. Agora adoro os Matte e Retro Matte, e consigo tolerar os Satin.

Sem mais demoras, estes são os meus 21 batons.

Do you remember when everyone made videos on Youtube showing their MAC lipstick collection? I spent hours watching these videos and I always believed that if I were to have a channel, the first video I was going to publish would be one of this kind. However, since that day never came, it's time to show you on a blog post!

At the moment, I own 21 lipsticks of the permanent range and 3 from limited editions that don’t deserve great attention (they are very, very old and I only keep them for sentimental reasons because I cannot even use them anymore).

I've always been obsessed with MAC. It started with their eye shadows, switched to the blushes and highlights, but the main focus was always the lipsticks!

MAC offers a zillion colours in 8 different finishes: Frost, Matte, Retro Matte, Amplified, Satin, Amplified, Cremesheen and Glaze. If you are looking for your first MAC lipstick, the fundamental part is to choose a finish, since many of the shades repeat themselves in different finishes.

Personally, when I started to get interested in these lipsticks, I loved the Amplified and Creemesheen finishes, they are super creamy and comfortable and the only difference is that the first ones have a much more intense pigment. Now I love the Mattes and Retro Mattes, and I can tolerate the Satins.

So, with no further delays, here are my 21 MAC lipsticks.

Cremesheen:

Modesty – Pesquisei tanto antes de comprar esta cor. Foi naquela altura em que já estava escaldada com escolhas anteriores, então tinha mesmo que acertar. Enchi a mão de swatches de todos os nudes e sai de loja com este. Quando cheguei a casa e o comparei com o Blankety fiquei horrorizada porque pareciam iguais (…mas só são um bocadinho). Este é mais escuro e menos pigmentado e fica quase invisível pois é mesmo a cor dos meus lábios.

Shy Girl – Este foi um dos escaldões que apaguei… vi montes de recomendações desta cor por parte das minha youtubers favoritas. Então entrei na loja, pedi o batom e vim para casa (eu estava naquela fase em que as meninas da MAC me metiam medo então nem vi a cor ao vivo). Bem, podem ver que é um laranja pastel com brilho que não só fica mal com a minha pele, mas também é impossível usar com lábios secos.

Crosswires – Eu queria um coral para o verão mas que não fosse muito laranja … Vi vídeos e pesquisei blogs durante meses para encontrar a cor perfeita…. Até que surgiu este! É o batom que uso nos meses mais quentes, como podem ver aqui, e recomendo-o a todas as minhas amigas.

Modesty - I researched so much before buying this lipstick. It was after choosing lipsticks that didn’t really suited me, so I had to get it right this time. I filled my hand with swatches of all the nudes and i left the store with this one. When I got home and compared with Blankety I was horrified because they looked the same (... just a little thou). This one is darker, less pigmented, and almost invisible on me because it is the colour of my lips.

Shy Girl - This was one of those lipsticks that didn’t suit me ... I've had seen lots of recommendations from my favourite youtubers, so I went into the store, asked for the lipstick and came home (I was in that phase where the MAC girls scared me so I didn’t even see the colour before buying it). Well, you can see that it's a bright pastel orange that not only looks bad on my skin, but it's also impossible to use with dry lips.

Crosswires - I wanted a coral for the summer that wasn’t not too orange ... I watched videos and researched blogs for months to find the perfect colour .... And then I found this! It's the lipstick I use in the warmer months, as you can see here, and I recommend it to all my friends.

Amplified:

Blankety | Chatterbox | Girl About Town

Blankety – Este foi o meu primeiro batom da MAC. Comprei-o no aeroporto, complemente sozinha e sem pesquisa. Usei-o todos os dias durante o meu último ano da universidade e fazia questão de o reaplicar onde quer que eu estivesse. É um nude clarinho meio rosado muito cremoso e pigmentado. Hoje raramente o uso, a não ser que o misture com outro, pois é mesmo muito pálido para mim.

Chatterbox – Esta compra foi feita sobre pressão. A minha mãe deu-me um daqueles cartões oferta (melhor presente de sempre BTW), e eu tinha que fazer compras de valor igual ou superior ao do cartão. Então, depois de levar 5 nomes de cores conhecidas num papelinho e todos estarem esgotados, acabei por agarrar este. No primeiro ano não o usei muito. É aquele rosa vibrante que é giro na teoria, mas que na prática não dá muita vontade de usar. Mas depois comprei um top com a mesma cor e lá arranjei um motivo para o tirar da gaveta. Confesso que não o voltava a comprar se fosse hoje.

Girl About Town – Esta cor andava na boca do mundo à 5 anos atrás. Era o batom favorito de tanta gente e recomendado a torto e a direito… mas ao que parece é a cor mais banal de sempre. É um simples fúchsia que existe em qualquer linha e eu provavelmente não lhe toco há mais de 2 anos, já que tenho esta cor em vários batons líquidos.

Blankety - This was my first MAC lipstick. I bought it at the airport, completely alone and without any knowledge on the formula. I ended up using it every day during my senior year of university and made a point of reapplying it all the time. It’s a very pigmented light nude. I rarely use it today, unless I mix it with another since it’s so pale to me.

Chatterbox – I made this purchase under pressure. My mother gave me one of those gift cards (best gift ever from BTW), and I had to use it. So, after taking a small piece of paper with 5 known lipstick names and being told that they were all sold out, I ended up getting this one. In the first year I didn’t use it much. It's a vibrant pink that looks gorgeous in theory, but that in reality it’s a bit too much for the everyday girl. Thankfully, I bought a top with the same colour so I found a reason to take it out of the drawer. I confess I wouldn’t buy it again.

Girl About Town – 5 years ago everyone owned this lipstick and it was recommended a lot! Now I can see that this is the most usual shade ever. It is a simple fuchsia pink that every brand has. I haven’t touched it in over 2 years, since I have this colour in several liquid lipsticks, which I prefer to this formula.

Satin:

Brave | Twig | Captive | Mac Red

Brave – Este é o meu batom favorito de todos os tempos. É um nude rosado que dura imenso tempo, é confortável e posso reaplicar sem um espelho. O meu está quase a acabar e eu vou ter que comprar outro.

Twig – Quando quero algo mais escuro que o Brave agarro esta cor. Este é um pouco mais acastanhado, mas não deixa de ser natural nos lábios (post aqui).

Captive – Raramente uso esta cor e não sei porque. É um roxo neutro, e eu normalmente adoro esse tipo de cor, mas como tem um acabamento mais para o cremoso eu deixo-o sempre de lado.

Mac Red – Esta compra surgiu do desespero de quando não havia Russian Red ou Ruby Woo em stock. É um vermelho frio clássico mas tem um acabamento cremoso que não combina com batons vermelhos… Não lhe toco desde que comprei o Ruby Woo.

Brave - This is my all-time favourite lipstick. It’s a pink nude that lasts for the longest time on my lips, it’s comfortable and I can reapply it anywhere even without a mirror. I’m almost finished with mine and I'm going to have to buy another one.

Twig - When I want something darker than Brave I grab this colour. This one has a little bit of brown, but it’s still very natural on the lips (post here).

Captive - I rarely use this colour and I do not know why. It's a muted purple, and I usually love this kind of shades, but since it has a creamy finish I always push it aside.

Mac Red - This purchase came from the desperation of not finding Russian Red or Ruby Woo. It's a classic red with a creamy finish that doesn’t match red lipsticks ... I haven’t touched mine since I got Ruby Woo.

Brave | Twig | Captive | Mac Red

Matte:

Honeylove – O melhor nude de sempre. Tem a cor perfeita para tirar o destaque aos meus lábios sem parecer que eu estou morta. Tenho mesmo muita pena de não o ter comprado mais cedo. Adoro este batom (post aqui).

Kinda Sexy – Outro nude, mas desta vez bem mais quente. Esta cor é muito amada pelas meninas mais morenas, e eu confesso que adorei usá-lo no verão (post aqui).

Velvet Teddy – Foi uma batalha encontrar este batom pois estava mais que esgotado graças à hype da Kylie Jenner. É um nude escuro com o meu acabamento favorito, que parece veludo nos lábios. É confortável e lindo (post aqui).

Mehr – Outro favorito. Este é um rosa/malva médio que infelizmente não está à venda em Portugal. Mas não desesperem, se não conseguirem apanhá-lo no estrangeiro, podem sempre fazer uma encomendinha na LookFantastic (post aqui).

Please Me – Usei e abusei desta cor quando a comprei. É aquele girly pink com classe. Foi o primeiro mate que experimentei e depois de testar esta fórmula ela ficou uma das minhas favoritas.

Whirl – Outra cor dramática para conseguir agarrar. É literalmente um castanho que me transporta para os meus tempos de Posh Spice. Tenho muito medo de o usar, mas faço o esforço para não me esquecer dele (post aqui).

Diva – Depois de eu fazer mais de 5 visitas à MAC de propósito para comprar este batom e levar sempre a mesma resposta “está esgotado e não sabemos quando volta”, o meu namorado decidiu tomar atitude e falar com as meninas da loja para lhe ligarem quando o batom voltasse. Passado umas semanas ele fez me a surpresa e ofereceu-me o batom. Se lhe forem perguntar um nome de algum batom da Mac ele só sabe este (post aqui).

Honeylove - The best nude ever. It has the perfect colour to divert the attention from my lips without making me look like a corpse. I kick myself for not getting it sooner. I trully love this lipstick (post here).

Kinda Sexy - Another nude, but this time much warmer. Many tanned girls love this colour and I confess that I really loved wearing it in the summer (post here).

Velvet Teddy - It was a battle to find this lipstick because it was more than sold out thanks to the Kylie Jenner hype. It's a dark nude with my favourite finish. It really feels like velvet on the lips (post here).

Mehr - Another favourite. This is a medium mauve pink that, unfortunately, is not sold in Portugal. But, don’t despair, if you cannot get it abroad, you can always make an order at LookFantastic (post here).

Please Me - I used and abused this lipstick when I first bought it. It's that girly pink with class. It was the first matte I tried and after testing this formula, it became one of my favourites.

Whirl - Another dramatic lipstick to get hold of. It's literally a brown that transports me to my Posh Spice times. I'm too scared to use it, but I make the effort to not forget about it (post here).

Diva - After I made more than 5 MAC visits just to get this lipstick, and always leaving with the same answer "it’s sold out and we don’t know when it’s going to come back", my boyfriend decided to take action and talk to the girls in the store so they could give him a call when the lipstick finally arrived. After a few weeks, he surprised me with Diva. If you were to ask him a name of any Mac lipstick, he could only name this one (post here).

Retro Matte:

Relentlessly Red | Ruby Woo | All Fired Up | Flat Out Fabulous

Relentlessly Red – Um coral lindíssimo que só tem ação no verão. Adoro esta cor, mas se não tivesse sido oferecida acho que não a comprava pois prefiro o All Fired Up.

Ruby Woo – O vermelhão mais vermelhão de todos. Custa imenso a aplicar pois parece cera, mas fica lindo e não sai.

All Fired Up – Esta cor eu não me importo usar no ano inteiro. É o vermelho para quem tem medo de usar vermelhos. Ele tem uma grande quantidade de magenta, o que complementa muito bem peles pálidas e dura o dia inteiro.

Flat out Fabulous – Tive que comprar este por ser o irmão do All Fired Up. O mesmo acabamento com mais roxo em vez de rosa, mas o que fiz foi comprar outro Girl About Town mais pigmentado e mate. Raramente toco nele.

Relentlessly Red - A beautiful coral that I only use in the summer. I love this color, but if it hadn't been offered, I don't think I would have bought it because I prefer All Fired Up over it.

Ruby Woo - The reddest red of all. It's really hard to apply because it feels like wax, but it looks beautiful and doesn't budge.

All Fired Up - I don't mind wearing this color all year long. It's the red for those who are afraid to wear reds. It has a lot of magenta, which complements pale skin nicely and it lasts all day.

Flat out Fabulous - I had to buy this for being the brother of All Fired Up. Same finish but more purple than pink. In reality, I actually bought another, more pigmented and matte, Girl About Town. I rarely touch it.

Como podem perceber, alguns destes batons são mesmo velhinhos, mas enquanto cheirarem bem eu não me vou livrar deles.

Ai dissertação como me matas! Anda o mundo inteiro de férias e eu completamente atrasada na escrita. Parece que este mês usei sempre as mesas coisas, pois ando exausta com o trabalho, aulas e dissertação… mas ao menos as aulas já acabaram! Sem mais demoras aqui estão os meus favoritos de Junho!

Oh dissertation you’re killing me! The whole world is on holiday and I’m completely behind. In this month I used the same things over and over, since I’m exhausted with work, class and the dissertation… well at least the classes are out of the way! So, without further ado, here are my June faves!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette – Acredito que não é surpresa dizer-vos que esta paleta faz parte dos meus favoritos de Junho! Sempre que me apeteceu usar sombras agarrei logo nesta menina. Podem ver a review completa com swatches aqui!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette – It doesn’t come as a suprisse that this palete is one of my monthly favorites! This month, every time that felt like using eyeshadow I grabbed this baby. You can se the complete review here!

Misha Perfect Cover BB – Naqueles dias em que tinha as borbulhas “on fleek” usei este BB. Ele tem a cobertura equivalente a uma base com uma protecção solar de 42. Review aqui!

Kiko Eyebrow Sculpt – Eu adoro sobrancelhas, e não saio de casa sem as “pentear” com um pouco de gel. Mas desde que comprei este lápis da Kiko nunca mais me fiquei só pelo gel. A cor é um pouco quente demais para mim, mas como adoro a textura do lápis e a aplicação é super rápida, não me posso queixar muito. Defino o meu arco em segundos e dura-me o dia inteiro. Já tenho este produto desde Janeiro e ainda me deve durar até ao fim do verão. Haul aqui!

Kiko Eyebrow Sculpt – I love bold eyebrows, and I don’t leave the house without “combing them” with a bit of gel. But since I got this Kiko Eyebrow Pencil I never just used the gel. The color is a bit too warm, but since I love the texture and the fast application I can’t complain to much. I define my arch in seconds and I have my eyebrows in place for the hole day. I've had this product since January and I think that it’ll last me until the end of summer. Haul here!

Kiko Lipliner 313 + Lime Crime Cupid – Eu adoro inventar combinações! Experimentei o lápis 313, que é mais escuro e frio que o Cupid, e quando se misturam transformam-se numa cor de lábios perfeita para o verão. Podem ver as outras cores dos lápis da Kiko aqui e a colecção da Lime Crime aqui!

Kiko Lipliner 313 + Lime Crime Cupid – I love to come up with these combinations! I tried the Kiko pencil in 313, that is a bit deeper and cool toned than Cupid, and the mixture is perfect for summer! You can see my other shades of the Kiko lip liners here and my Lime Crime Collection here!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush na cor Magic – Os blushes da Tarte são os meus favoritos. Nada vence a sua longevidade na minha pele. Este é um coral bem berrante que dá muita vida ao rosto, mas claro tem que ser aplicado com cuidado. Eu uso a minha duo fiber da Real Techniques e espalho uma quantidade mínima… mínimaaaaaa! Eu comprei todos os meus blushes da Tarte (review aqui), no site da Glambot, mas sei que actualmente a Tarte já tem shipping para Portugal!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Magic – Tarte blushes are my favorite. Nothing beats its longevity on my skin. This is a very bright coral that really lives up the face, but of course you need to apply it carefully. I use my Real Techniques Duo Fiber and tap a small (really small) amount on my skin. I got all my Tarte blushes from Glambot (review here), but now Tarte ships internationally!

Collection Concealer – Ultimamente comprei uns corretores a mais, então estou a tentar despachar os que já tenho abertos a algum tempo. Foi assim que redescobri o quanto adoro este corrector da Collection. Bem cremoso, fácil de espalhar, com uma cobertura incrível e que não se deposita nas linhas. Na próxima visita a Inglaterra vou ter que o comprar novamente.

Collection Concealer – Lately I got some new concealers, so I’m trying to finish my old ones since they have been open for a while. That was when I rediscoverd my Collection concealer. So creamy, easy to blend with an amazing coverage and it doesn’t settle in fine lines. On my next trip to England I am definitely repurchasing this!

Quem daqui é que adora a Sleek?

Tudo começou com as paletas de 10 sombras, lá para 2010. Eu estava em Inglaterra e percorria os corredores das Boots e Superdrug à procura da paleta ideal quando me deparei com as iDivine. Comprei umas 4, das quais ainda sobrevivem 2 esquecidas numa gaveta. Quando cheguei a Portugal já tínhamos a marca nas nossas Sephoras e foi ai que comprei a Face Form, a única paleta que consegui acabar!

Who loves Sleek?

Everything started with the 10 eyeshadow palettes back in 2010. I was in England browsing the isles of Boots and Superdrug looking for the perfect palette when I noticed the brand. I still have 2 of them hidden a drawer somewhere. When I came back to Portugal we already had the brand in Sephora, and that was when I got the Face Form, the only palette that I finished!

Entretanto, apaixonei me pelos batons nos últimos anos. Tenho 9, onde 3 são matte e 6 têm acabamento cremoso. Como conseguem perceber, o acabamento cremoso é o meu favorito. Apesar de terem vantagens em comum (não têm cheiro, cores únicas e vibrantes, packaging compacto), têm também outras propriedades que diferem consoante o acabamento.

Matte:

É preciso passar várias vezes para termos cor.

Têm uma textura meio “lápis de cera”

Não se mexem.

Duram imenso tempo e deixam a mancha da cor.

Sheen:

Cor intensa numa só passagem.

São mais confortáveis.

Podem “sangrar” a cor para fora da linha dos lábios.

Não os usem se têm batons secos ou a escamar. A cor fica depositada em sítios estranhos numa maneira muito nojenta.

In the last couple os years I really fell in love with the lipsticks. I have 9, where 3 are matte and the other 6 have a sheen finish. As you can probably see, the sheens are my favorites. Although they have some similar points (no scent, unique and vibrant shades, sleek packaging), they also have some diferences depending on the finish.

Matte:

You need to go over with the lipstick a couple of times to get intensity.

It has a slight “waxy” feeling.

They don’t move.

They last a long time and leave a stain behind.

Sheen:

Intense color with one swipe.

Very comfortable.

They can bleed and move around.

Don't use theses if you have dry or chapped lips. The color settles on all the wrong places in a very disgusting way.
