Assim que ouvi a Jaclyn Hill falar maravilhas desta
paleta no Snapchat, eu já sabia que a
ia comprar. Tive que esperar um bocadinho para que ela ficasse disponível na Maquillalia, mas mal tive oportunidade
agarrei-a.
As soon as I heard the wonders that Jaclyn Hill sad about this palette on
Snapchat, I knew that it was going to be mine. I had to wait a little for it to
be available on Maquillalia, but I grabbed
it when I had an opportunity.
Ela é dourada e altamente
propicia a marcas de dedos. É levezinha mas tem um fecho magnético que combina
com o design simples da embalagem. Lá
dentro temos 4 iluminadores, 3 em pó e 1 em creme.
It’s gold and highly “finger printy”.
It’s pretty light weight and has a magnetic closure that matches the sleek
packaging. Inside we have 4 highlighters, 3 in a powder form and a cream one.
Ecliptic é o creme da paleta. Ele é cremoso sem ser oleoso,
no entanto demora a fixar no rosto. À primeira vista parece que se funde com o
meu tom de pele refletindo discretamente… mas sobe a luz direta do sol
conseguimos ver claramente que é escuro demais para mim. Sinceramente, não
gosto nada de ter um creme rodeado por pós, principalmente sendo iluminadores
que tendem a “desfazer-se” quando passamos com uma fan brush.
Hemisphere é um lilás. É aquela cor que fica melhor sobre um
blush do que propriamente como iluminador. Praticamente não lhe toco, não só
pela cor mas também porque é o que tem mais glitter.
Subsolar é um amarelo bem clarinho. Esta foi a cor que me
dava mais curiosidade, já que adoro iluminadores praticamente brancos com um
toque quente… No entanto este desiludiu-me… ele é muito seco e praticamente não
tem cobertura na pele, já para não falar que não transmite uma gota de calor ao
rosto. É apenas um brilho discreto.
Equinox é a estrela da paleta. É um pêssego com uma textura
macia e altamente metálica. Na pele ele torna-se quase molhado, perfeito para o
famoso “JLo glow”.
Ecliptic is the cream. It is creamy
without being oily, nevertheless it takes time to dry. At first sight, it blends
onto my skin tone reflecting the light in a natural way… but on direct sunlight,
we can clearly see that it is too dark for me. Honestly, I don’t like
creams surrounded by powders, especially when the powders become dust when
touched with a fan brush.
Hemisphere is a light purple. It’s
that pink highlighter that looks better has a blush topper. I don’t even touch
it, not only for the colour, but because it is the most glittery highlight in
the palette.
Subsolar is a light yellow shade. This
was the highlight that I was the most curious about since I like pale highlighters
with a warm touch… However, this one disappointed me. It’s too dry and has
almost no coverage, not to mention that it doesn’t warm up the face at all. It’s just a discrete glow.
Equinox is the star of the show. It’s
a peach with a soft and highly metallic texture. On the skin it looks almost
wet, perfect for that “JLo glow”.

Paletas de iluminadores ou
blushes têm sempre este problema comigo: alguns produtos são bons e outros
estão só a encher, pois as marcas tentam agradar o máximo de tons de pele possível.
Mas posso vos dizer que pelo
preço esta paleta é das melhores do mercado: 4 iluminadores totalmente
diferentes que duram 7/8 horas, que aparecem na pele e a iluminam, com o bónus de
uma embalagem resistente e instagram
worthy, tudo por 12,99€.
Highlighter and blush palettes always
have this problem in my opinion: some of the products are good and others are just
there to occupy some space, since the brands tend to cater to a big range of
skin tones.
Still, I can tell you that for the
price, this palette is one of the best out there: 4 highlighters totally different
from each other that last for 7/8 hours, that show up on the skin and come in a
resistant packaging that is totally Instagram worthy… all of that for 12,99€.
