Nars Narsissist Unfiltered II

Eu disse vos que tinha feito uma encomenda no site europeu da Nars, e aqui está o grande catalisador da compra: Narsissist Unfiltered II Cheek Palette.

I told you that I had made an order from the European Nars, and here is the big catalyst for that purchase: Narsissist Unfiltered II Cheek Palette.

A Nars lançou 2 paletas de blushes pela altura do natal:

Unfiltered I – para peles médias a escuras, com cores vibrantes e intensas.

Unfiltered II – para peles pálidas a médias, com tons rosa.

Eu sou grande fan dos blushes da Nars, mais então quando surge a possibilidade de testar 6 cores novas por um preço inferior a 2 blushes full size.

Nars released 2 blush palettes around Christmas time:

Unfiltered I – for medium to dark skin, with intense and vibrant shades

Unfiltered II – for pale to medium skin, with muted pinks.

I’m a big fan of Nars blushes, even more so when there’s the possibility to test out 6 new shades for a smaller prince than 2 full size ones.

Esta paleta é linda de morrer e perfeita para não sair do tocador. Tem uma tampa rosa, altamente espelhada, que eu nem quero imaginar como ficaria se caísse ao chão. A parte de trás vem no típico material Nars, que para quem não sabe é uma espécie de borracha preta mate impossível de limpar quando entra em contacto com pós.

No interior temos 5 blushes (2 mate, 1 aveludado e 2 com brilho), e um iluminador: Hot Sand. Se vocês seguem a Kathleen Lights no Youtube sabem que este é um dos iluminadores favoritos dela. Fiquei super entusiasmada em o ter, mas como podem ver no swatch, ele é dourado demais para a minha pele. Mesmo arrisquei e apliquei-o... Ele é fenomenal! O pigmento dourado fica discreto e só conseguimos ver um ligeiro glow.

Conquest e Power Play são as típicas cores de blush que eu adoro: subtis e fáceis de aplicar, já que não há grande risco de abusar. Undefeated é um rosinha bem glowy que meninas com peles mais escuras vão conseguir usar como iluminador. Fame é a cor mais quente do conjunto é um pêssego médio com uma textura macia. Candid é uma cor de framboesa com brilho, no entanto o glitter é muito mais discreto que o no Undefeated.

Os blushes mate são secos mas conseguimos construir a cor. Não consigo mostrar no swatch o quão lindos eles são, mas acreditem em mim que com um pincel eles ficam perfeitos no rosto. Os que têm brilho são incríveis, apesar de eu preferir os meus blushes mais naturais e menos “bola de espelhos”.

This is a gorgeous palette and perfect to stay put in my vanity. It has a pink, highly mirrored lid and I don’t even want to imagine what would happen to it if I dropped it on the floor. The bottom part is made of that typical Nars material, which if you don’t know yet, is some rubbery matte black material that is impossible to clean once it touches powder.

Inside we get 5 blushes (2 with a matte finish, a satin one and 2 shimmery ones), and a highlighter: Hot Sand. If you follow Kathleen Lights on Youtube then you know that this is one of her favourite highlighters. I was supper excited to having it, but as you can see on the swatch, this is too gold for my skin. Nevertheless, I decided to apply it to my cheeks and the result was completely different. The gold pigment is tasteful and you can only notice a slight glow.

Conquest and Power Play are the typical shades that I love on my skin: discreet and easy to apply, since you don’t have the risk of over doing it. Undefeated is a glowy pink that maybe some darker skinned girls can pull of as a highlighter. Fame is the warmest of the bunch, it’s a medium peach with a velvety texture. Candid is a cranberry with subtle shimmer, nothing like the glitter on Undefeated.

The matte blushes are dry but you can build up the intensity. I can’t show on the swatch how truly gorgeous they are, but believe me, with a brush they look amazing on the face. The shimmery ones are great too, although I prefer my blushes more natural and less “disco ball” like.

Esta paleta está à venda na Look Fantastic e na Nars EU por 55€ (quando eu a comprei em Dezembro ela estava a 45€). Se vocês têm pele clara, adoram blushes rosa, a conveniência de uma paleta e claro, se são Narsissistas (a.k.a. obecadas com a Nars), então não esperem mais.

This palette is available on Look Fantastic and on Nars EU for 55€ (it was 45€ back in December when I got it thou). If you have light skin, you love pink blushes, prefer the convenience of a palette, and if you’re a Narsissist (a.k.a. Nars obsessed), then don’t wait any longer.
