Pink Ivory Makeup: maio 2016

Ai como eu ando apaixonada por batons líquidos! Umas das marcas que sempre quis experimentar foi a Dose of Colors. Não é muito conhecida aqui em Portugal, mas é umas das indie brands mais famosas pelo Instagram e Youtube.

Guys, I’m in love with liquid lipsticks! One of the brands that I'ved always wanted to try out was Dose of Colors. It’s not really talked about in Portugal, but it’s one of the most famous indie brands on Instagram and Youtube.

A BeautyBay começou a vender a marca e eu lá agarrei 2 nudes! Comprei as cores Truffle (o mais escuro) e Bare with me (o mais claro). A formula destes batons é incrível! Muito semelhante à do Jeffree Star ou Kat Von D, é aquela mistura entre liquido e mousse que não seca os lábios e dura imenso tempo sem ficar desconfortável.

As embalagens são lindíssimas com efeito de vidro baço e trazem 4.5 ml de produto.

BeautyBay started selling the brand so I grabbed 2 nudes! I got Truffle (the darker nude) and Bare with Me (the lighter one). The formula is incredible! Feels a lot like the Jeffree Star or Kat Von D liquid lipsticks, it’s the middle between a liquid and a mousse texture that doesn't dry out the lips and lasts a long time with no uncomfortable feeling.

The packaging is gorgeous! A beautiful frosted glass with 4.5 ml of product.

Truffle é um nude escuro ligeiramente rosado. Acredito que seja uma cor universal! Comparado com outras cores, é mais rosa que o Celebrity Skin do Jeffree Star e praticamente idêntico ao Birthday Suit da Sleek só um pouco mais claro (Os batons da Sleek não são os favoritos de muita gente, há quem os considere demasiado secos... not me!).

Bare With Me é um nude clarinho virado para o pêssego. Adoro esta cor! Tenho a usado constantemente desde que o sol começou a aparecer! Nos lábios fica igualzinho ao Dreamy da La Girl (apesar de no meu braço notar-se a diferença). Comparado com o Caramello da Stila conseguimos notar o que a cor Bare With Me não é um nude pálido.

Truffle is a dark nude with a slight pink undertone. I believe that this is a universal shade! When compared to other colors in my collection I noticed that it’s more pink than Celebrity Skin from Jeffree Star and a dead on dupe of Birthday Suit form Sleek (some people hate the Sleek formula, so it’s worth checking out Truffle).

Bare With Me it’s a light nude with a slight peach undertone. I love this colour! I have used it constantly since the sun came out! On the lips looks exactly like Dreamy from LA Girl, even tough on my arm you can notice difference. Compared with Stila Caramelo you can easily see that Bare With Me is not so nude.

Quero mesmo agarrar a cor Stone (o nude rosado da família), Brick (o Bordeaux) e o Cork (o castanho quente). Que acharam destes batons? Já conheciam a marca?

Finalmente decidi comprar este BB Cream da Missha! Sempre ouvi maravilhas dele, principalmente da Camila Coelho, então lá fiz a comprinha na BeautyNetKorea!

Eu comprei a cor mais clara (numero 13 – Milky Beige) e a embalagem pequena de 20 ml por cerca de 5€. Vem num tubo tipo bisnaga muito prático.

Finally I decided to grab Misha’s BB Cream! I have always heard amazing things about it from Camila Coelho, so I decided to just make the purchase from BeautyNetKorea!

I got the lightest shade (no 13 – Milky Beige) and the small size of 20 ml for about 5€. It comes in a, very practical tube like packaging.

A minha opinião:

É um óptimo BB Cream! É o primeiro BB Coreano que experimentei e notei uma grande diferença em termos de cobertura e duração, quando comparado com os produtos ocidentais. O factor solar de 42 é o que gosto mais neste produto, pois tem uma protecção elevada e não tem aquela cor branca/azulada típica dos protectores faciais que eu uso.

Cheira bem (faz lembrar o cheiro de pó talco), espalha-se bem e dura as 8 horas de trabalho. Acho perfeito para o dia-a-dia. Se quiserem re-aplicar depois do trabalho não tem qualquer problema pois ele assenta muito bem.

Um ponto negativo é que ao longo do dia a minha pele oleosa começa a fazer das suas e este BB Cream não a consegue travar. Consigo aguentar por agora, mas não sei se no pico do verão me safo.

My opinion:

It is a great BB Cream! It’s the first Korean BB that I’ve tried and I noticed a great different in terms of coverage and lasting power. The SPF of 42 is one of my favorite thing about this product, because it offers high sun protection without that white/blue cast, very typical of facial sun screens.

It has a nice scent (it reminds me of baby powder), it blends well and lasts for the 8 hours of work. It’s great to use daily and you can re-apply after work with no trouble since this is so easy to build up.

A bad thing that I have to mention is that, at the end of the day my oily skin starts doing its business and this BB cream doesn’t now how to stop it. I can deal with the extra dewy look for now, but I don’t know if I wil in the pick of summer.

Os dias passam e a minha obsessão com a Kat Von D continua! Hoje é dia de vos mostrar ao pormenor o mais recente lançamento da colecção dos everlasting liquid lipsticks: LOLITA II.

A história é muito simples, quando foram lançados os batons, a cor Lolita ganhou uma legião de fans e esgotou em todo o lado. A KVD meteu mãos à obra e fez outra fornada de Lolitas, mas houve um erro em fabrica e a cor saiu completamente diferente da Lolita original. No terceiro lançamento o problema foi resolvido MAS, a cor “estragada” também conquistou corações. Como a Kat é uma fixe lá lançou a cor Lolita II, o alter ego da original.

Lolita II é um nude terracota, lindo e único na minha colecção! Adoro a cor, e gosto especialmente de a combinar com lápis de lábios diferentes para dar ênfase aos diferentes tons da Lolita, uns mais castanhos, outros mais laranjas e outros mais vermelhos. É uma cor muito versátil e claro, tem uma formula incrível!

The days pass but my obsession with Kat Von D continues! Today I’m going to show you the most recent launch of the everlasting liquid lipsticks: LOLITA II.

The story is pretty simple, when this range was first released, the shade Lolita gained a legion of fans and sold out everywhere. KVD didn’t waste time and made another batch of Lolitas, but there was a mistake in the factory and the shade came out completely different from the first Lolita. On the third launch the problem was solved BUT, the “messed up shade” also melted some hearts. Since Kat is the coolest, she decided to release Lolita II, the alter ego of Lolita.

Lolita II is a terracota nude, gorgeous and unique in my collection! I love the color, specially when I use different lip liners underneath to emphasize all the variations of the shade: brown, orange and red. It’s a very versatile color and of course, it has an amazing formula!

Se vocês viram o meu post do Lip Cheat da Charlotte Tilbury sabem que eu encontrei o melhor lápis delineador de lábios no mundo... bem desta vez trago-vos um dupe!

If you read my post about the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat then you know that I found the best lip liner in the world... well today I’m going to show you a dupe!

Pois é, a Kiko aos poucos está a começar a ter um lugar no meu coração. Decidi entrar e experimentar os novos lápis e reparei logo que a embalagem era idêntica aos tão aclamados da Charlotte, depois fiz o swatch e não fiquei com mais duvidas: encontrei um tesouro!

Chamam-se Creamy Colour – Comfort Lip Liner, e são isso mesmo, cremosos, confortáveis e duradouros. As cores já estavam mais que escolhidas (existem 16 online mas a loja devia ter unas 8 ou 9), eu aproveitei a promoção de 6*3 e trouxe 6 a metade do preço para vos poder mostrar (tão boazinha que eu sou...).

Kiko is warming up a place in my heart. I decided to try out theses liners and I noticed that the packaging was identical to the Charlotte ones, and after swatching them I had no doubts left: I found a treasure!

They are the Creamy Colour – Confort Lip Liner, and they really are creamy, comfortable and long lasting. The shades where more than picked up (there are 16 shades online, but in store there was 8 or 9 left), I took advantage of the 6*3 and brought home 6 liners for half the price to show you guys (I’m so nice...).

Os escolhidos foram: 302 Warm rose, 304 Wine, 307 Red peach, 311 Rose Mauve, 313 Sangria e o 314 Marsala.

Não sei se são edição limitada ou não, mais quero agarrar umas cores mais neutras porque acho que são mesmo fantásticos!

Tony Moly é a nova marca exclusiva da Sephora em Portugal. Caso estejam interessadas em experimentar, eu trago-vos uma recomendação: Panda Brightening Eye Base! Esta é a base de olhos já conhecida por quem segue a marca. Eu comprei-a em Fevereiro no BeautyNetKorea por 5€.

Basicamente, isto é um primário de sombras/primário de corretor em versão stick, que vai neutralizar a escuridão das olheiras/pálpebras e ao mesmo tempo iluminar e deixar uma base suave. Isto tudo dentro de uma embalagem super fofinha e prática.

Tony Moly is the new exclusive brand of Sephora Portugal. In case you’re interested in trying something out I have here a recommendation: The Panda Brightening Eye Base! This is the eye primer well known for those that follow the brand. I got mine around February on BeautyNetKorea for 5€.

Basically this is an eyeshadow/concealer primer in a stick form that will neutralize darkness, highlight and leave a smooth base. All of this in the cutest packaging ever.

Quando usei este produto pela primeira vez não gostei muito, pois tinha o contorno ocular severamente desidratado. Isto ficou depositado nas rugas e misturou-se com o corretor numa "not so cute way".

Passado uns dias voltei a testar e adorei. Ele realmente ilumina e deixa a pele macia, mas não pode ser usado sozinho! Têm que aplicar o corretor por cima porque isto é branco.... BRANCO!

Como primário de sombra não é o meu favorito. Ele até potencializa as sombras, mas não ajuda a prolongar a sua utilização, pelo menos nas minhas pálpebras.

Outro método que adorei usar é como base de iluminador! Meto directamente no topo das maças do rosto e espalho com os dedos (Tipo Watt’s up da Benefit). Por cima aplico o Pearl da Becca ou o Iridescent Strobe Light da Hourglass.

When I first used this product I didn’t like it, that was because my under eye was really dehydrated. It just settled on my wrinkles and when I applied the concealer on top, it just started to ball up.

A couple of days later I tested it again and loved it. It really highlights the under eye and leaves the skin soft, but it can’t be worn alone! You have to apply a concealer on top because this is white...WHITE.

As a eyeshadow primer it’s not my favorite. It really potencializes the shadows, but it doesn't prolong the wear time, at least not on my oily lids.

Another way that I love to use this is as a highlighter! I apply it directly to the top of my cheekbones and blend it in with fingers (Like you would do to Benefits Watt’s Up). and then I just brush my Becca Pearl or the Iridescent Strobe Light from Hourglass on top.

Para resumir, recomendo isto a meninas pálidas que não tenham a pele seca. Caso isso não seja o vosso caso, ou se não tiverem olheiras carregadas, acho que podem dispensar. Não vale a pena estarem a adicionar mais um passo à vossa maquilhagem, principalmente quando se trata de produtos no contorno ocular, que é uma zona muito sensível e a primeira a envelhecer.

To sum up, I recommend this to pale girls that don’t have dry skin. In case that isn’t you, or you don't have a lot of darkness on your under eye, then I think you should pass it up. It’s not worth to add another product to your makeup, specially when we are talking about the under eyes, which is the most sensitive skin we have and the first to show sins of aging.

Quem já ouviu falar da marca Stila, sabe o que é a sombra Kitten! Eu sempre tive curiosidade em experimentar, mas ouvi dizer que a cor Sin da Naked original era praticamente idêntica, então deixei-me ficar pelas sombras da Urban Decay.

If you've heard of the brand Stila then I bet you know what the eyeshadow Kitten is! I was always curious to try it out, but I’ve heard that the color Sin from the original Naked is a really close dupe, so I just settled with the shadows from Urban Decay.

Já há algum tempo, a marca decidiu lançar a famosa Kitten como iluminador. Eu nunca lhe dei muita atenção, até que chegou o dia em que eu precisava de gastar mais dinheiro na CultBeauty para ter portes grátis (aposto que não sou a única que sofre com isto).

Foi então aí que comprei o Stila All Over Shimmer Duo na cor Kitten por 15£ (aproximadamente 19€). Como podem ver, é um compacto pequenino, com 5.3 g de produto, onde temos 2 iluminadores (ou sombras se preferirem).

For quite some time now, the brand decided to re-release the famous Kitten as a highlighter. I have never given it much attention, until it came the day that I had to spend a bit extra to qualify for free shipping on CultBeauty (I bet I’m not the only one that does this).

That was when I got the Stila All Over Shimmer Duo in the shade Kitten for 15£ (something like 19€). Has you can see, it’s a small compact, with 5.3 g of product, where we get 2 highlighters (or shadows if you prefer).

É um acessório ideal para o verão, prático e fácil de usar. Temos 2 tons que podem ser usados individualmente ou misturados para criar a cor ideal de iluminador. No entanto, tenho que confessar que a sua formula é bastante seca. É o iluminador mais discreto que tenho, não há shimmer intenso nem glitter, então fica bem natural, uma espécie de “glow from within”.

Para quem não gosta de abusar no glow, este pode ser um grande aliado. Eu por exemplo, gosto de o usar quando vou dar aqueles passeios à praia ou parque em dias bem solarentos. Assim escuso de cegar alguém com os meus iluminadores da Becca.

A cor mais clara é um champagne com uma ligeira inclinação rosa, este é o meu favorito dos 2 para utilizar como iluminador. Já a cor mais escura, fica um dourado lindo, muito mais claro do que aparenta no compacto, mas como eu sou pálida prefiro usá-lo como sombra, ou misturar com outros iluminadores.

It’s a great item for the summer, it’s practical and easy to use. We can use the 2 shades individually or mixed to create the ideal highlighter. But I have to admit that this formula is really dry. It’s the most discrete highlighter that I own, there is no intense shimmer or glitter so it looks very natural, a kin of “glow from within”.

For those that don’t like to over load on the highlight this can be a great ally. I like to use it on very sunny days when I go to the beach or the park for a walk, that way I don’t blind people like I would if I was using the Becca highlighters.

The lightest shade is a light pink champagne and it is my favorite of the 2 to use as a highlighter. The darkest of them is a gorgeous gold, much lighter than it looks on the compact. But since I’m very fair I prefer to use it as a eyeshadow or to mix it with other highlighters.
