Pink Ivory Makeup: setembro 2015

Com a chegada do outono resolvi passar pela Sephora e trazer 2 iluminadores das minhas marcas favoritas. Comprei o Candlelight Glow (26,50 €) da Too Faced e o High Beam (28,50 €) da Benefit. Ambos têm um tom meio arosado, perfeito para meninas com peles frias.

With autumn coming I decided to pop into Sephora and buy 2 highlighters from my favorite brands. I bought the Candlelight Glow (26,50 €) from Too Faced and High Beam (28,50 €) from Benefit. Both have a pink tone to them, perfect for cool toned skins.

O iluminador da Too Faced tem duas cores, um champanhe e um rosa que podem ser usados em conjunto ou separados. Devo confessar que não resisti e já o utilizei algumas vezes. É discreto o que se torna muito natural, tem uma textura muito suave e fácil de aplicar.

A embalagem é linda, como já é habitual da Too Faced. Temos o iluminador num compacto muito seguro, tem um espelho no interior e está impresso no pó um candeeiro (candlelight).

The highlighter from Too Faced has two shades, a champagne one and a pink one that can be used mixed together or separately. I have to confess that I couldn’t resist this highlight so I have used it a couple of times already. It gives a very natural soft glow to the skin. It has a soft texture and it’s very easy to apply.

The packaging is gorgeous, as it is usual from Too Faced. We have the highlighter inside a very sturdy compact, it has a mirror and there is a candlelight indented in the powder.

O High Beam da Benefit é dos produtos mais famosos da marca. Demorei imenso tempo para o comprar porque tem óleo na sua composição, então estava receiosa que me fosse irritar a pele. Pesquisei blogs, videos e reviews do High Beam e acabei por comprá-lo. Eu só o uso no topo das maças do rosto. A mim não me causa reação porque aí a minha pele é seca, mas se é comum teres borbulhas nessa zona acho que devias evitar este produto.

A embalagem é parecida com um verniz de unhas. Tem 13 ml e vem com um pincel. Eu costumo fazer três pontinhos com o pincel em cada maça do rosto e espalho com os dedos. Já tive problemas quando apliquei produto a mais por isso é preciso adptarem se à aplicção.

High Beam is one of the most famous products from Benefit. It took me so long to buy this because it has oil in its composition. I was afraid that the oil was going to irritate my skin, so I searched blogs, videos and reviews of High Beam and I ended up buying it. I just use it in the top of my cheeks. It does not break me out because my skin there is dry, but if you have blemishes on your cheeks than I recommend avoiding this product.

The packaging resembles a nail polish bottle. It has 13 ml and comes with a brush. I make 3 dots on my cheeks and blend it with my fingers. I have had problems when I applied to much, so there is a learning curve with this product.

Adoro estes produtos, e adoro ainda mais quando os sobreponho (primeiro aplico o high beam e depois com um pincel aplico uma camada muito leve do candlelight glow), acho que se complementam muito bem e são uma boa escolha para todas as meninas que querem uma pele luminosa.

I love this products, and I loved them even more when layered on top of each other (first high beam and then a soft light layer of candlelight glow), I think they complement each other and they are a great choice for every girl that loves glowy skin.

Se não viram a parte 1 sobre como tratei o acne podem clicar aqui! Agora vou vos falar dos produtos que são um extra na minha rotina, alguns uso sempre e outros só de vez em quando.

Não pode faltar nunca um desmaquilhante, este vem antes de qualquer coisa que possamos fazer à pele. Eu gosto muito de usar o desmaquilhante com óleo da Sephora (8,95 €) nos meus olhos, é a única coisa que me limpa perfeitamente os restos de rimel. No rosto aplico a água Micelar da Garnier (5,99 € nos supermercados) este não me irrita a pele, é muito mais barato que o Bioderma e faz essencialmente a mesma coisa. Pode ser aplicado nos olhos também.

If you haven’t seen the first part you can click here! Now I am going to show you some extra products in my routine. Some that I use all the time and others once in a while.

You can never skip a makeup remover, this comes before anything else that you do to your face. I like the Sephora one (8,95 €) it has oil so it’s perfect to use in my eyes to completely remove all traces of mascara. In my face I like the Micelar Water from Garnier (5,99 € in the drugstore), this one does not irritate my skin and it’s way cheaper than Boiderma (which does essentially the same thing).

Depois de desmaquilhar a cara passo sempre o meu gel de limpeza, e pelo menos 2 vezes por semana uso-o com o meu ajudante da (1) MQBeauty (29,90 € na Maquillalia mas está constantemente em promoção), existem várias marcas destas escovas mas todas fazem essencialmente a mesma coisa: Limpam completamente a pele. Tenham atenção com as cabeças que usam, eu uso sempre a cabeça para peles sensíveis e substituo-a de 2 em 2 meses para não criar bactérias.

Um extra que vocês podem adicionar à vossa rotina é uma mascara. Eu gosto muito desta de ácido glicólico chamada (2) Tensoderm. A sua função é aclarar as manchas de acne. Já a tenho à algum tempo, mas penso que o seu valor ronde os 15/20€ euros na farmácia. Recentemente comprei esta máscara de argila (3) Narcutos Natural Vulcanic Clay (3,95 € na Maquillalia), só precisamos misturar agua e aplicar no rosto, é excelente para secar a pele quando estou mais “oleosa”.

Recentemente adicionei um toner à minha rotina (vê o haul aqui!), este da (4) Eucerin é especialmente concebido para peles com problemas de acne. Gosto de passar com ele depois de limpar a pele com o gel de limpeza, pois há sempre vestigios de maquilhagem para trás.

Como uso corretor de olheiras todos os dias comecei a ficar com a pele por baixo do olho muito recequida entao comecei a investir em creme de olhos. Tenho 2 que uso rotativamente: (5) Care Love Eye Cream (comprei a 1 € Douglas do Freeport à uns meses atrás), (6) Farmona Skin Aqua Cream Eyes Moisturizing e Brightening (custa 1,99€ na Primor) é mais leve do que o da Douglas então prefiro usar este durante o dia.

O extra final na minha rotina é um batom hidratante, para mim não há nada melhor que os da Labello (1,99€ nos supermercados). Este no tom soft rose anda sempre comigo na mala.

After removing all my makeup I use my cleanser, and at least t2times a week I apply it with my little helper from (1) MQBeauty (29,90 € on Maquillalia but it is usually on sale). There are a lot of brushes like this one but they all do the same thing: they completely clean your skin. Just beware with the heads that you use, in my case I like the sensitive skin brush and I replace it every 2 months. I tend to use it every other day with my cleanser after the shower when my pores are opened, and I apply a mask afterwards.

An extra step that you can add to your routine is a facial mask. I like this one with glycolic acid called (2) Tensoderm. This mask is going to lighten up some old blemishes scares. I’ve had this one for a while but I remember it costing around 15/20€ in the pharmacies. More recently I bought this one called (3) Narcutos Natural Vulcanic Clay (3,95 € on Maquillalia). All you do is mix it in a bowel with water and then apply it to you face. It’s great for when I’m feeling a bit more oily.

Recently I added a toner to my routine (check out my haul here!), this one from (4) Eucerin is specifically for acne prone skin. I like to put it in a cotton pad and go over my skin with it after cleansing my face, since there is always makeup left behind.

Since I use concealer everyday under my eyes I started noticing that my skin was a bit dry. I decided to start using eye cream. I use 2 regularly: Care Love Eye Cream (I got this at a promotion from Douglas for 1 €), Farmona Skin Aqua Cream Eyes Moisturizing and Brightening (1,99 € in Primor), it’s a bit lighter so I use this one in the morning.

The final extra in my routine is a lip balm. For me there is nothing better than the Labello ones (1,99 € in the drugstore). This in the shade Soft Rose is always in my bag.

Como isto é um blog de maquilhagem é sempre bom referir: a maquilhagem não provoca acne se for a maquilhagem certa para o vosso tipo de pele. A primeira regra é limpar bem a pele à noite, podem usar toalhitas ou algodão, mas so parem de limpar quanto a toalhita vier LIMPA (usem 10 toalhitas se for preciso). A segunda regra é a mesma que a do creme hidradante NADA DE OLEOS. Não utilizem bases, primers ou pós com óleos na sua composição (óleo de jojoba, óleo mineral, óleo de fruitos…). É claro que cada pele é uma pele, e o que funciona em mim pode irritar a vossa pele e vice versa. Por isso façam sempre uma boa pesquisa antes de investir em produtos excessivos ou peçam ajuda a um profissional!

Since this a makeup blog I have to mention: makeup doesn’t cause acne if you use the right makeup for your skin type. The first rule is to clean your skin very well, you can use wipes or cotton pads like me, but only stop cleaning when the wipe come makeup free (use 10 wipes if you have to!). The second rule is the same as the moisturizing creme (mentioned in the part 1): OIL FREE ONLY! Don’t use foundations, primers or powders with oil in their composition (jojoba oil, mineral oil, castor oil, fruit oil…). Of course that every skin is different and what might work for me may be totally wrong for you, because of that you should research before investing in expensive products or get professional help!

Hoje venho vos falar da minha rotina de pele.

Eu tenho pele mista com tendência acneica. Durante praticamente toda a minha adolescência lidei com acne. Fui à dermatologista aos 18 anos e resolveu-me a pele em 2 meses. Aos 22 fui para Inglaterra (melhor sitio para encontrar bases para pessoas meio “albinas”) e comecei a utilizar maquilhagem todos os dias sem limpar bem a pele à noite, o fez com que o meu acne voltasse.

Claro que comecei a testar produtos atrás de produtos para me livrar da praga. O meu maior erro ao tentar tratar do acne foi o excesso de produtos de skin care e maquilhagem que eu usava. Muitas das bases, desmaquilhantes e hidratantes que eu usava tinham ingredientes na sua composição que me pioravam o acne.

Passado quase um ano sem melhorias, fui à dermatologista. Os resultados não foram tão rápidos como da primeira vez mas finalmente tenho a minha pele de volta ao normal. Deixei de usar base, não porque tenho medo que volte a ter acne, mas porque não quero voltar a estar ‘viciada’ em ter uma mascara de pele perfeita. Eu sei que é cliché mas temos que nos “sentir bonitas na nossa própria pele”.

Antes de mais gostava de dizer que se tens acne não esperes mais e vai a um médico. Eu passei imenso tempo a tentar tratar da minha pele com produtos de supermercado sem obter resultados (cleasil, clean and clear, oriflamme, garnier, yves rocher…). Talvez esses produtos funcionem na tua pele, talvez não. Um médico saberá quais os produtos ideais para ti e como usá-los.

Existem 3 produtos que a vossa rotina tem que ter:

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about my skin care routine. I have oily and acne prone skin.

During my teenage years I have dealt with acne. I went to the dermatologist when I was 18 and she resolved my skin in 2 months. At 22 I went to England (best place on earth to find foundations for the pale folks like me), I started using makeup every day and not cleaning my skin properly at night and that made my acne come back.

I have tried products after products to get me rid of acne. My biggest mistake was the excessive amount of skin care and makeup that I used at the time. A lot of the foundations, makeup removers and creams had ingredients in its composition that just made my acne worse.

Almost a year later without getting better I went to the dermatologist. The results weren't as fast like the first time, but now I can finally say that I have my skin back to normal. I quit using foundation, not because I’m afraid I’ll breakout again, but because I don’t want to feel the need to have that mask of perfect skin. I know it's cliché but we have to feel “pretty on our own skin”

I just want to tell you that if you have acne don’t wait any longer and go to a doctor. I've spend so long trying to fix my skin with products from the drugstore that were constantly advertised on TV and magazines, without any results (clearasil, clean and clear, oriflamme, garnier, yves rocher…). Maybe those products work for you, maybe not. A doctor will know what is right for your skin and will teach you how to use them.

There are 3 products that you must have in your skin care routine:

Benzac Wash 5 Gel - Noviderm Boreade Gel

Um gel/creme de limpeza – usado 2 vezes ao dia (de manhã e à noite). Tem que limpar o excesso de sebum que provoca novas borbulhas. Não precisa de ser um exfoliante, muitas vezes eles agravam o acne, pois podem irritar borbulhas. Os meus favoritos são o Benzac Wash 5 (cerca de 10€ na farmácia. É muito forte e foi me receitado por 2 dermatologistas diferentes), e o Boreade Purifying Cleasing Gel da Noviderm (14€ em farmácias e parafarmácias. É mais fraquinho, comecei a utilizar depois de concluir os tratamentos intensivos de acne, já experimentei outras marcas mas volto sempre a este, deve ser a minha sexta garrafa).

Cleanser – it’s something that you use 2 times a day (morning and night). It has to clean the excessive oil that can clog pores. It doesn’t need to be an exfoliant (most of the time exfoliants can irritate your skin and aggravate acne). My favorite products are Benzac Wash 5 gel (around 10€ in pharmacies. It’s very strong, and was recommended by my 2 dermatologists); and Boreade Purifyng Cleansing Gel from Noviderm (14€ in pharmacies. It’s not as strong and abrasive like the first one, I started using it after finishing my intensive acne treatment. I have tried different brands but I always come back to this one, this is probably my 6^th bottle).

Isdin Peroxiben - Differin Gel

Um tratamento local (spot treatment) – este é o vosso melhor amigo para secar as borbulhas. Basta aplicar nas zonas afetadas à noite e com o passar do tempo elas vão desaparecendo. Tal como na limpeza tenho favoritos e são só estes que eu uso. O Isdin Peroxiben (10€ nas farmácias. Este é o mais forte, seca tudo o que vocês quiserem. Um ponto negativo é que estraga as toalhas lá de casa. Não sei o que é que tem na sua composição, mas depois de lavar a cara na manha seguinte, ao limpar a cara deixo a toalha com manchas tipo lixívia). O outro é o Differin gel (10€ nas farmácias. É mais fraco e por isso gosto de o aplicar nas borbulhas que me aparecem nas bochechas já que é uma pele mais sensível).

A spot treatment – This is your best friend to dry out blemishes. You just need to apply it to your problem areas at night and after a couple of uses they will disappear. Like in the cleansers department I have 2 favorites. Isdin Peroxiben is the strongest, it dries everything it touches. A disadvantage is that it completely bleaches my face towels when I use then in the morning after. The other product is Differin gel (10€ in pharmacies. It’s a bit weaker than the first one. I like to apply this on the blemishing on my cheeks, since it’s a more sensitive area).

Eucerin Hydrating Care - Clean & Clear dupla acção hidratante

Um creme hidratante – Todos os tratamentos de acne deixam a pele extremamente seca, e como tal é preciso aplicar um creme hidratante. O principal ponto a lembrar quando escolhemos um hidratante é que este NÃO CONTENHA ÓLEO. Por isso podem usar um hidratante qualquer tendo sempre em atenção à lista de ingredientes. Eu gosto muito do creme hidratante da Clean and Clear (são 6€ no supermercado), ou se preferem produtos mais hidratantes experimentem o Eucerin Hydrating Care (13€ nas farmácias e parafarmácias).

A moisturizing cream – Every acne treatment leaves your skin super dry, so you need to apply a moisturizer. The main point is to get an oil free one. Just keep in mind every time you look for a hydrating cream to look at the ingredients list, if there is anything with the word ‘oil’ in it just put it down. My favorite is Clean and Clear Double Action (around 6€ in the drugstore), but if you fancy a cream a bit more moisturizing try out the Eucerin Hydrating Care (13€ in pharmacies).

Quem costuma fazer compras na Maquillalia de certeza que já reparou na I <3 Makeup (marca irmã da Makeup Revolution). É uma marca inglesa com produtos em conta que costuma criar 'dupes' de marcas como a MAC, Tarte, Too Faced, Lime Crime, Lorac.... Hoje vou vos mostrar a comparação de 2 blushes, um da I <3 Makeup de 6,49€ e outro da Too Faced a 32€ nas Sephoras.

If you usually shop on Maquillalia then for sure you have noticed the brand I <3 Makeup (sister brand of Makeup Revolution). It's a british brand with affordable 'dupes' for brands like MAC, Tarte, Too Faced, Limecrime, Lorac... Today I am going to show you a comparation on 2 blushes, one from I <3 Makeup (6,49€) and another from Too Faced (32€).

A Too Faced tem 3 tons diferentes dentro desta gama dos Sweethearts - Perfect Flush Blush:

Something about berry - um rosa frio muito intenso.

Peach beach - um pêssego muito brilhante.

Candy glow - um coral suave. É o mais natural de todos e foi a cor que comprei.

A I <3 Makeup que originalmente começou por duplicar as cores da Too Faced, neste momento tem uma colecção de 6 blushes, 3 iluminadores e 3 bronzeadores. Decidi comprar a cor Bursting With Love (uma das cores originais da marca) para não correr o risco de ficar com duplicados.

Something about berry - a very intense cool pink.

Peach beach - a very glitery peach shade.

Candy glow - a light coral. It's the most natural of all the shades and it's the one that I bought.

I <3 Makeup originaly started by just duplicating the Too Faced shades, but at this moment it has a coletion of 6 blushes, 3 highlitghers and 3 bronzers. I dicided to buy the color Bursting With Love (one of the original shades from the brand) so that I wouldn't end up with duplicates.

As embalagens são extremamente parecidas, têm o mesmo tamanho, formato e até a própria cor dourada. A maior diferença está sem duvida nos detalhes do blush da Too Faced.

The packaging is extremely similar. The shape, size and even the gold shade on the bottom are spot on. The major difference is in the little cute details that the blush from Too Faced has.

I <3 Makeup - Too Faced

Dentro das embalagens de cartão podemos encontrar os blushes, constituídos com 3 riscas de cores diferentes que podem ser usadas em conjunto ou em separado.

O blush da Too Faced (direita) aparenta sem maior pois o da I <3 Makeup (esquerda) tem uma forma côncava e ao mesmo tempo esta inserido num suporte de plástico branco maior que o da Too Faced. Mas na verdade o blush da I <3 Makeup tem quase o dobro do produto (10 g) que o da Too Faced (5.5 g).

Inside the carton packaging you can find the blushes. They are made by 3 different colored stripes that can be used all together or separately.

The Too Faced blush (right) appears to be bigger than the one from I <3 Makeup (left) that has a domed shape and at the same time its inside a white plastic casing that looks bigger than the on from Too Faced. But in reality the cheaper blush has almost the double of product (10 g) than the more expensive one (5.5 g).

O que eu tinha mais receio era sem duvida a pigmentação e a duração do blush mais barato. Como podem ver na foto ambos são pigmentados, apesar de o da I <3 Makeup ser ligeiramente mais intenso e macio do que o da Too Faced. Quanto à longevidade o a Too Faced é o claro vencedor, este aguenta todo o dia de trabalho na pele enquanto que o mais barato vai desaparecendo a partir das 3/4 horas de uso.

What I was the most afraid of was the pigmentation and longevity of the cheaper blush. However, as you can see in the photo, both are pigmented, and I can even tell you that the I <3 Makeup blush is softer and a little bit more intense than the more expensive blush. Now, in the terms of longevity, Too Faced is the clear winner, since it lasts all 8 hours of a working day on my cheeks and the I <3 Makeup starts to disappear after 3/4 hours.

Eu aconselho estes blushes da I <3 Makeup, são uma boa adição ao tocador ou ate mesmo um boa prenda para uma amiga. Claro que não tem o packaging nem a duração de um blush de gama alta mas servem perfeitamente para uma saída, jantar, festa etc!

I recommend the blushes from I <3 Makeup, they are a good addition to your vanity or even a great gift for a friend. Sure you don't get the packaging or the long lasting power of a high end blush, but they are perfect for a night out, dinner, party, etc! It's up to you and your needs!

Chegou às nossas Sephoras a mais recente edição das paletas Naked da Urban Decay, chama-se Naked Smoky e custa 50,95€.

It has arrived to our Sephora the most recent edition of the Naked palettes from Urban Decay, called Naked Smoky for the retail price of 50,95€.

A Urban Decay é a minha marca favorita de sombras de olhos. As cores são pigmentadas, macias e faceis de esfumar. Apesar do grande investimento, cada sombra desta paleta fica-nos a 4,25€ (50,95 €/12 sombras), ou ainda mais barato se tiverem descontos de cartão cliente da Sephora, o que é mais barato que as famosas sombras da MAC (18€) ou ate mesmo as individuais da Kiko (4,90 €).

Urban Decay is my favorite brand of eyeshadows. All the colors are pigmented, soft, easy to blend and long-lasting. Even though it is an investment, if you break it down, each shadow costs you 4,25€ (or even cheaper if you have a discount coupon for Sephora), which is must cheaper compared to MAC (18 €) or even Kiko individual eyeshadows (4,90 €).

A embalagem é de plástico, é resistente e pesada, com detalhes de “fumo” à volta de toda a paleta. Vem com um pequeno guia para fazer o perfeito smoky eye com 4 exemplos desenhados: smoky cat, everyday smoky, iconic UD smoky eye e smoky reality star. O fecho é magnético, vem com um espelho enorme e um pincel de 2 lados (esfumar e lápis).

It comes in plastic packaging, very resistant and heavy, with smoke details all over. It also comes with a small guide of how to do the perfect smoky eye with 4 examples: smoky cat, everyday smoky, iconic UD smoky eye and smoky reality star. Inside also we have a heavy duty mirror and a dual sided brush (blending and pencil).

A Naked Smokey é essencialmente fria. Tem 2 ou 3 cores mais quentes, mas os cinzentos e azuis são predominantes. Ao contrário das outras paletas Naked, que tem um degradé de tons do mais claro para o mais escuro, nesta paleta a disposição é diferente, ou seja, apesar de também existir um degradé, é no meio que estão as sombras mais escuras.

Outra diferença está na disposição das texturas, ou seja, nas edições anteriores não há qualquer organização, já na Smoky existem 3 texturas claramente separadas.

The Naked Smoky is essentially cool toned. It has 2 or 3 warm shades, but the greys and blues are predominant. On the other Nakeds, the eyeshadows are organized is a ombre style, from the lightest to darkest, but on this Naked, even though it also has a ombre feel to it, all the darkest shades are in the middle of the palate.

Another difference is in the display of textures, I mean, in the last editions there is no organization but in the Naked Smoky there are 3 textures clearly separated.

O primeiro grupo de sombras é d dos shimmers. Aqui temos 4 sombras brilhantes que podem ser incorporadas em qualquer look, o que torna a Naked Smoky uma paleta muito mais versátil do que se estava à espera.

The first group of eyeshadows is the shimmery one. We have 4 shadows, cool and warm, that ca be incorporated in any look, which makes this smoky palette much more versatile than expected.

High é um champanhe com uma ligueira inclinação para o pêssego.

Dirtysweet é um dourado com um pouco de bronze.

Radar é um castanho médio com brilho bronze, e é o menos brilhante do grupo.

Armor é a cor mais original da Naked Smoky. Na paleta é apenas um cinzento com brilhantes prateados, mas na pele este cinzento tem uma grande base roxa e quando é esfumado transforma-se numa sombra castanha-arroxeada.

High is a champagne shade with a slight peachy tone.

Dirtysweet is a gold with a little of bronze.

Radar is a medium brown with a bronze shine, and it’s the least shimmery shade of the group.

Armor is the most original shade of the all. In the palette it’s just a grey with silver shimmer, but on the skin the grey becomes almost purple, and when it’s smoked out it becomes a brown/purple shade.

O segundo grupo são sombras com uma textura aveludada, não tem tanto brilho como as primeiras sombras mas também não são totalmente mate.

The second group of eyeshadows are the satins, which means that they are not as shimmering like the first ones but they are also not completely mate.

Slanted é um cinzento azulado claro com brilhantes prateados.

Dagger é um cinzento escuro com uma base de azul marinho.

Black Market é o preto frio.

Smolder é um roxo que se torna quase preto na pele.

Slanted is a light blue grey with silver shimmer.

Dagger is a dark grey with a blue marine base.

Black Market is a cool toned black.

Smolder is a purple that becomes almost black on the lid.

Por fim temos os mates. Estas sombras são as mais macias que já experimentei, mas como consequência, quando lhe toco o pincel a sombra voa por todo o lado (pode haver algum desperdício).

Lastly we have the mate shades. These are the softest eyeshadows that I have ever tried, but on the other hand, they just crumble every time that I touch them with a brush (which means that there is a bit of waste and fallout).

Fiz 2 looks com esta paleta, um quente e um frio, devo confessar que prefiro cores quentes nos meus olhos, principalmente quando se trata de smoky eyes pois as cores frias facilmente podem tornar um smoky eye num “olho negro”.

I made 2 looks with the smoky palette, one more warm toned and another on the cool side. I have to confess that I much prefer warm toned shades on my eyes, especially when doing a smoky eye since cool toned eyeshadows can easily transform a smoky eye in a ‘black eye’.

Esta naked não é a minha favorita, gosto muito que ela tenha mais mates que as outras, mas nada bate a naked original e as suas sombras quentes.

This naked is not my favorite, although I like that it has more mate eyeshadows than the other nakeds, but NOTHING beats the color selection of the original naked.

Com a moda dos lábios matte têm surgido novas marcas, Coloured Raine é uma marca americana (cruelty free e vegan) que tem ganho fama no Youtube e Instagram pelos seus Matte Lip Paints.

Existem 17 tons destes batons líquidos, os mais famosos são: Mars, Sugar, 24Seven ou Soul. Eu comprei no site oficial da marca a 16,50 USD. O envio é com tracking e demorou duas semanas a chegar a casa.

With this mate lips trend there are a lot of new indie brands coming out with their version of liquid lipsticks. Coloured Raine is an American brand (cruelty free and vegan) that has been hyped up on Youtube and Instagram because of their Matte Lip Paints.

There are 17 shades of these liquid lipsticks, the more famous ones are: Mars, Sugar, 24Seven and Soul. I bought just one in the official site for 16,50 USA. My package was nicely packed and was shipped with a tracking number.

A fórmula destes batons é das minhas favoritas, seca completamente e não vai a lado nenhum, nem mesmo depois das refeições. Quem não gosta da sensação de lábios secos não vai gostar desta fórmula, assim como quem é sensível ao cheiro. Tenho que avisar que estes batons cheiram muito a tinta durante a aplicação e enquanto secam.

The formula of these lipsticks is one of my favorites. It dries completely mate and doesn’t budge, even after meals. If you don’t like to have that feeling of dry lips then you won’t like these. Also if you are really sensitive to scents then I have to warn you, these lipsticks have a really strong paint smell during the application and while they dry.

Eu comprei a cor Mars, na minha pele fica um rosa velho escuro com uma base castanha. Já na modelo do site, que é bem mais morena que eu, este batom parece um nude com base roxa.

I got the shade Mars. On my skin looks like a dark dusty pink with a brown base, but on the model from the site, (a model with a darker skin tone than me), this lipstick looks like a mauve nude.

Eu sei que vou comprar outro menino destes, principalmente pelas cores que a Coloured Rain oferece. Se gostas dos batons líquidos da Sleek ou os Cream Lip Stains da Sephora acho que vais gostar desta marca e das diferentes cores que eles têm.

Se preferes os L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Glosses ou os Melted da Too Faced não te aconselho estes batons.

I know I am going to pick up another of these babies, especially because of the color selection that Coloured Rain offers. If you like liquid lipsticks like the ones from Sleek or the Cream Lip Stains from Sephora then I think you would really enjoy this brand.

But if you prefer the L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Glosses or the Melted from Too Faced then stay away from Coloured Rain Matte Lip Paints.
