Pink Ivory Makeup

O espírito consumista anda no ar, e mesmo sem cupões de desconto na Sephora, a vontade de ir gastar dinheiro é muita. Por isso, para seguir a moda que me persegue no Youtube, aqui está a maquilhagem que não me convencem de todo. Prometo que não vou dar dinheiro por estes produtos!

The consumerist spirit is in the air, and even without discount coupons at Sephora, the desire to go out and spend money is big. For that reason, to follow everything person Youtube, here is the makeup that I don’t want to buy. I promise I will not give away my money for these products!

1. MAYBELLINE - Gigi x Maybelline Collection

Mais alguém está farto do Millennium Pink? Já não basta termos a KKW e a Rihanna, tinha que chegar a Gigi com embalagens no mesmo tom de rosa. Pode até nem ser argumento para muitas pessoas, mas neste caso estamos mesmo a pagar a embalagem e o nome da Gigi, porque segundo os rumores, estes produtos não fogem à norma da Maybelline.

Eu adoro as fotos promocionais desta campanha, principalmente as que a Gigi usa batom vermelho, ainda ponderei comprar o vermelho alaranjado mas rapidamente mudei de ideias quando vi o seu preço.

Is anyone else sick of the millennium pink? It's not enough to have KKW and Rihanna, Gigi had to come up with packaging in the same shade of pink. It may not even be an argument for many people, but in this case, we are paying extra for the packaging Gigi’s name, since according to rumours, these products are just like the others from Maybelline.

I love the promotional photos of this campaign, especially the ones where Gigi is using a red lipstick. I still pondered buying the orange red but quickly changed my mind when I saw the price.

2. ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILS Blush Kit – 35,80€

Eu sou fan da Anastasia, mas cada vez me apercebo mais que esta marca é direcionada a maquilhadoras profissionais e não ao público geral. O instagram cria aquela ideia que de precisamos de todos os novos lançamentos da ABH, mas na verdade nem todas as cores dos contour e glow kits funcionaram para o consumidor habitual. Por isso, vou deixar passar esta menina!

I'm an Anastasia fan, but I’m starting to realize that this brand is aimed at professional make-up artists and not the general public. Instagram creates the idea that we need all the new ABH releases, but in fact not all the colours of the contour and glow kits work for the regular consumer. For that reason, I passing this one up!

3. HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 3 – 75€

Este é o 3º ano que resisto a esta beldade. A Hourglass gosta de testar a minha força de vontade e cada ano que passa decide lançar produtos cada vez mais cativantes. Este tem 2 pós de acabamento, um iluminador, um bronzeador e 2 blushes, todos eles em formato miniatura.

O único benefício que esta palete trás é a oportunidade de testar vários produtos da marca, porque o preço por grama é um absurdo. Então quando eu já tenho 2 cores das 6, não existe razão lógica para gastar o meu dinheiro na edição de natal deste ano da Hourglass (right?).

This is the 3rd year that I resist this beauty. Hourglass likes to test my willpower and every year that passes decides to launch products more and more captivating. This one has two finishing powders, one illuminator, one bronzer and two blushes, all of them in miniature format.

The only benefit that this pallet brings is the opportunity to test various powders because the price per gram is absurd. So when I already own two colours out of six, there is no logical reason to spend my money on this year's Hourglass Christmas edition (right?).

4. TOO FACED – Boss Lady Beauty Agenda – 55,95€

Nope! Nunca comprei as paletes de edições de natal da Too Faced e este ano não vai ser diferente. Uma paleta gigante com 24 sombras repetidas, bronzer, blush e iluminador, uma Better Than Sex, um Melted Matte à mistura e claro, o tema desta coleção: uma agenda. Não me convences Too Faced.

Nope! I have never bought Christmas editions palettes from Too Faced and this year will not be any different. A giant palette with 24 repeated shadows, bronzer, blush and illuminator, a Better Than Sex mascara, a Melted Matte and of course, the theme of this collection: an agenda. Tou don’t convince me Too Faced.

5. MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Cat's Meow – 44€

Eu não tenho razão de queixa dos batons do Marc Jacobs, e muito menos das suas miniaturas, mas de momento não preciso de mais batons. Acho uma prenda bem gira, e 44€ por 5 batons é uma ótima relação de qualidade preço, mesmo sendo em tamanho mini. Mas estes kits de “um vermelho, uma cor escura e três ou quatro nudes” não me convencem quando já experimentei a fórmula e já tenho todas as cores que me querem impingir.

I have no reason to complain about the Marc Jacobs lipsticks, let alone their miniatures, but at the moment, I do not need any more lipsticks. I find this a good gift, and € 44 for 5 lipsticks is a great value for your money, even if it is in mini size. But these kits of "one red, one dark colour and three or four nudes" do not convince me when I have tried the formula and I already ows all the shades that they’re trying to shove at me.

6. NABLA – Dreamy Palette – 35,90€

Esta paleta é linda de morrer! Os metálicos parecem ser líquidos e os mates são completamente encharcados em pigmento. As cores podem não ser inovadoras, mas são perfeitas para quem gosta de neutros com um pouco de cor, já para não falar na sua variedade e na maneira como se complementam umas às outras.

É sem dúvida umas das melhores paletas “mais em conta” que vi recentemente… mas não preciso dela. Tenho montes de paletas em casa ao abandono, e sei que esta ia fazer parte da coleção.

This palette is to die for! The metallic shadows appear to be liquid and the mates are completely soaked in pigment. The colours may not be anything new but they’re perfect for those who like neutral palettes with a little colour, not to mention the variety and how they complement each other is incredible to look at.

It is with a doubt one of the best “affordable” palettes I have seen recently ... but I do not need it. I have many palettes at home that I barely touch, and I know that this one was going to be part of them.

7. BECCA – Eye Lights Palette Apres Ski Glow Collection – 45,00€

Sete sombras por este preço? Wut? Podem ser lindas, mas aposto que já as tenho espalhadas por paletes diferentes cá em casa. Fica para o ano Becca!

This price for seven eye shadows? Wut? They may be beautiful, but I bet I already have similar shades scattered on different pallets at home. Maybe next year Becca!

8. URBAN DECAY – Mini Vice Liquid Lipsticks – 29,95€

Um kit com quatro miniaturas dos Vice Liquid Lipsticks nas cores Backtalk, Crimson, Purgatory e Amulet. Ora bem, das quatro cores, uma eu já tenho, outra é metálica e outra tem glitter… sobra o vermelho, que não me faz falta. No thanks!

A kit with four mini Vice Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Backtalk, Crimson, Purgatory and Amulet. Well, of the four lipsticks, I already own one… so I’m left with a red, a metallic and a glitter lipstick… meh. No thanks!

9. TOO FACED - Under The Kissletoe – 23,95€

Todos os anos fico triste por não conseguir apanhar um kit de Melted Minis. Este ano que finalmente temos acesso a eles em Portugal eu não tenho o mínimo interesse. Tudo porque o Melted Latex que vem no conjunto. Não sei se já fizeram swatch de algum na Sephora, mas são a coisa mais ewwwww de sempre. Se nem os consigo aplicar na mão para ver a cor, imaginem nos lábios! De resto, este conjunto trás um Melted Matte na cor Drop Dead Red, e dois Melted Lipsticks, um na cor Chihuahua e outro em Chocolate Honey. Fica para o ano Too Faced!

Every year I'm disappointed that I can not get a Melted Minis set. This year we finally have access to them in Portugal but I don’t have the least interest. All because a Melted Latex comes in the set. I do not know if you’ve ever done a swatch of these gooey lipsticks on Sephora, but they're the most ewwwww thing ever. If I cannot even apply them to my hand to see the color, imagine trying to put them on the lips! This set also comes with a Melted Matte in the shade Drop Dead Red, and two Melted Lipsticks, one in Chihuahua and one in Chocolate Honey. Nice try Too Faced!

10. URBAN DECAY – Naked Heat – 51€

Bem, em relação a esta eu tenho um bocado de azia. Adoro a Naked original, a 2 e a 3 começaram a perder o meu interesse com o passar do tempo, ainda agarrei a Basics porque meio mundo dizia que era maravilhosa… até que chegou a Smokey. Foi o lançamento do ano e eu praticamente corri para a Sephora para a ter depois de ver vídeo atrás de vídeo de looks com ela. Depois da hype morrer eu posso vos garantir que não lhe toquei mais de 2 vezes.

Então é certinho e direitinho que a Naked Heat ia para o mesmo caminho se viesse para a minha casa. É uma palete linda mas as cores são praticamente repetidas. Eu tenho a Morphe 35O e irrita-me ter que a abrir e ver sombras repetidas… suponho que ia sentir o mesmo com a Heat.

Não preciso dela e “colecionar Nakeds” não é um motivo para a comprar.

Well, I’m a bit salty with all the Naked Palettes. I love the original Naked, the second and the third ones started to lose my interest over time, I still grabbed the Naked Basics because half the world said it was wonderful ... but then I bought the Naked Smokey. It was the release of the year and I practically ran to Sephora to buy it after watching video after video with different tutorials with that palette. After the hype died, I can assure you that I have not touched the Naked Smokey twice.

Therefore, you know that the Naked Heat would have a similar future if it came to my house. It is a beautiful pallet but the filled with similar shades. I own the Morphe 35O and it annoys me to open it and see repeated shadows... I suppose I would feel the same way with the Naked Heat.

I do not need it and "collecting Nakeds" is not a reason to buy it.

Anti Hauls são difíceis para mim, pois quando vejo alguma coisa que não gosto, eu basicamente esqueço-me que tal produto existe. Tive que ir ver as secções de novidades dos site da Sephora (o francês claro), CultBeauty, Maquillalia e afins para me lembrar daquilo que não me interessa. Falem me dos produtos que não querem comprar!

Anti Hauls are difficult for me, because when I see something that I don’t like, I basically forget that such product exists. I had to go to the new sections of Sephora, CultBeauty, Maquillalia and others to remind me of what I do not care at all. Tell me about the products you don’t want to buy!

Os meus primeiros produtos do Marc Jacobs.

Se conhecem o corredor da perdição da Sephora provavelmente já viram este conjunto de minis. Ele trás um batom e um lápis de lábios ambos na cor Slow Burn, um bestseller da marca.

If you are familiar with the Sephora Isle of Doom than you have probably seen this mini lip set. It comes with a lipstick and a lip liner both in the shade Slow Burn, a brand bestseller.

Já referi várias vezes que, como blogger e viciada em maquilhagem, adoro comprar miniaturas, já que consigo testar mais produtos por menos dinheiro e usá-los até ao fim. Então nada melhor do que este set para ficar a conhecer a linha de lábios do Marc Jacobs.

I have mentioned several times that as a blogger and a make-up addict, I love to buy miniatures, since I can test more products for less money and use them up. Therefore, there is nothing better than this set to get to know the Marc Jacobs lip range.

Posso vos dizer já que fiquei rendida. Para alem da cor ser simplesmente perfeita, um rosa “cor de boca” para o dia-adia, adorei também a textura dos produtos. O batom é cremoso mas assenta passado algum tempo tornando-se mate. É durador como a marca indica, mas nada de extraordinário (se já experimentaram algum batom de acabamento mate da MAC vão o achar parecido).

O lápis, o (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil é o meu favorito do conjunto. Durante a aplicação parece manteiga, mas depois não se mexe. É retrátil então não têm que se preocupar com afias, mas tenho as minhas duvidas em relação à durabilidade do componente. Normalmente as miniaturas apresentam uma qualidade inferior no que diz respeito à embalagem, então não sei se pela altura do verão o lápis irá descolar tornando impossível a aplicação.

I can already tell you that I’m converted to Marc Jacobs makeup. In addition to the colour being simply perfect, a pink "your lips but better shade" for every day, I also love the texture of the products. The lipstick is creamy but it does become matte after a while. It is long lasting as the brand claims, but nothing extraordinary (if you have ever tried a MAC matte lipstick then you will find them very similar).

The pencil, the (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil is my favourite of the set. During the application, it feels like butter but after it sets, it does not move. It is retractable so you don’t have to worry about sharpening it, but I have my doubts regarding the durability of the component. Normally, miniatures like this one have a lower packaging quality, so I don’t know if by the summer the pencil will fall off making the application impossible.

Acho este set uma excelente prenda de natal. Tias, primas, amigas ou até as vossas mães, irão adorar ter um conjunto do Marc mala para retocar a maquilhagem.

I think this set is an excellent Christmas present. Aunts, cousins, friends or even mothers, will love to have a Marc Jacobs set in their purse and touch up the make-up.

O cleanser mais conhecido da Lush veio morar cá para casa! É o Angels on Bare Skin, o produto de limpeza em forma de pasta que ajuda a limpar a pele ao mesmo tempo que a hidrata.

Lush's best-known cleanser came to live here! It's Angels on Bare Skin, the paste-like cleanser that helps clean the skin while moisturizing it.

Eu adoro limpar a minha pele. Nada bate aquela sensação de pele extra limpa, então por norma costumo usar 2 produtos de limpeza, um desmaquilhante para retirar toda a maquilhagem e um gel de limpeza que faça muita espuma para me livrar de todo o sebo e impurezas que ficaram acumuladas na minha pele durante o dia.

Segundo a marca “Este cleanser super suave é feito com 100% de ingredientes naturais. Inspirado numa receita medieval e enfeitado com flores de lavanda, contém caulim para absorver a gordura e sujidade, deixando a pele limpa a nutrida. O óleo de lavanda e o absoluto de rosa acalmam a pele. À medida que misturas o teu cleanser sólido com água para formar uma pasta, as amêndoas moídas criam um leite que ajuda a tonificar e a iluminar a pele. Pode ser usado não só no rosto mas em todo o corpo também.”

I love cleaning my skin. Nothing beats that extra clean skin feeling, so as a rule I usually use 2 cleansers, a make-up remover to remove all make-up and a very foamy cleansing gel that get rid of all the sebum and impurities accumulated on my skin during the daytime.

According to the brand: “This heavenly blend of cleansing kaolin clay, ground almonds and a soothing blend of lavender, rose and chamomile oils has been a customer favourite for years. A quick scrub with this nubbly cleanser leaves skin calm, balanced, soft and smooth, and because it's so gentle, anyone can use it. Just take a small amount in your hand, add a little water and mix into a paste. Massage into skin to gently cleanse, then rinse clean. Use all over your body for soft skin everywhere!”

Eu gosto de o usar como o passo intermédio na minha rotina de noite. Entre o desmaquilhante e o meu cleanser atual, o Effaclar Gel Mousse Purificante da La Roche Posay.

Mesmo com partículas que ajudam a exfoliar suavemente a pele, o Angels on Bare on Skin deixa para trás uma camada de suavidade que na minha consciência não é nada mais, nada menos, do que produto a mais.

Apesar de eu gostar muito do produto da Lush, ele não me dá a sensação de limpeza que eu preciso. A minha pele é extremamente oleosa, então até agradeço quando sinto o repuxamento que grande parte dos cleansers da farmácia dão.

Se vocês têm a pele seca aposto que vão adorar este produto. A parte que custa a habituar por ser menos prática é mesmo o facto de termos que “esgravatar” um pot e depois ainda misturar com água para formar a dita pasta.

I like to use it as the intermediate step in my night routine. Between the make-up remover and my current cleanser, the Effaclar Gel Purifying Mousse from La Roche Posay.

Even with particles that help to gently exfoliate the skin, Angels on Bare on Skin leaves behind a layer of softness that in my consciousness is nothing more, nothing less, than that product build-up.

Although I really like this product from Lush, it does not give me the feeling of cleanliness I need. My skin is extremely oily, so I’m very grateful when I end up with that tight/pull feeling that most pharmacy cleansers give.

If you have dry skin I bet you will love this product. The part that it’s a bit harder to get used to, for being less practical, is that have to "dig" around in a pot and then still mix with water to form the said paste.

Já conheciam este produto? Provavelmente não o voltaria a comprar, pelo menos enquanto a minha pele continuar oleosa. Podem no encontrar nas lojas da Lush ou online por 9,95€.

O primeiro produto do meu haul da Nyx que vos vou mostrar em detalhe é o stay matte but not flat powder foundation.

The first product of my Nyx haul that I will show you in detail is the stay matte but not flat powder foundation.

É uma base em pó, ideal para quem gosta de uma pele sem imperfeições e com acabamento mate, ou para quem apenas quer selar a base com um pó com cobertura. Ele não tem talco e óleo na sua composição e é resistente à água, podendo ser aplicado com pincel no seu estado seco, ou com uma esponja húmida para uma maior cobertura.

Se viram o meu post anterior sabem que eu não tinha grandes expectativas com este menino. Foi aquela compra impingida pela menina da Nyx mas que no fundo compensou.

It’s a powder foundation great for those who want a flawless skin and matte finish, or for those who just want to seal their foundation with a powder with a little more coverage. It is formulated without talc and oil and it’s water resistant. It can be applied as it is with a brush or with a wet sponge for a heavy-duty coverage.

If you saw my previous post then you know that I did not have high expectations with this baby. It was a purchase recommended by the girl working at Nyx, but it was so worth it.

Eu tenho adorado usá-lo principalmente no meu queixo que anda mais problemático que o normal. Ele não é pesado e assenta muito bem na pele, claro que não é um pó da Hourglass que é quase invisível na pele (review aqui), mas é excelente para neutralizar a vermelhão ou balançar aquelas bases demasiado rosa, já que a cor que escolhi, a 02 Nude, tem uma tonalidade amarelada.

Comparativamente com o pó da Becca (review aqui), este é mais seco. O Multi Tasking Perfecting Powder da Becca é extremamente fino e aveludado, então com o simples toque do pincel criamos uma nuvem de desperdício. Apesar de ser mais natural na pele, eu acabo por preferir o da Nyx e tudo deve-se à sua cor.

I love wearing it mainly on my chin that has been having a little more blemishes and discoloration that usual. It is not heavy and settles well on the skin, of course it is not an Hourglass powder that is almost invisible on the skin (review here), but ii’s great for neutralizing redness or those too pink foundations, since the shade that I got, 02 Nude, has a yellowish tint.

Compared to Becca's powder (review here) this one is a bit drier. Becca's Multi-Tasking Perfecting Powder is extremely thin and velvety, so at the touch of the brush we create a cloud of waste. Although it is more natural on the skin, I actually prefer the Nyx powder and it's all due to its colour.

MAC Honeylove é o batom que mais curiosidade me deu estes anos todos. Tal como o Kinda Sexy que eu pensava ser quente demais para mim (post aqui), eu pensava que o Honeylove era nude demais. NOPE. Ele é perfeito.

MAC Honeylove is the lipstick that most curiosity has given me these years all. Just like Kinda Sexy that I thought that was too warm toned for me (post here), I thought that Honeylove was too nude. NOPE. It’s perfect.

Este batom é oficialmente o meu favorito da MAC. Passado 4 anos o meu Brave foi destronado do seu lugar, e agora é este que mora na minha mala.

O Honeylove é mesmo um nude (ou bege como a marca admite), não é um your lips but better como o Brave. Mesmo assim ele fica bem na minha pele, aclara-me os lábios mas não parece que estou morta. Fica lindo com looks em que queremos dar mais destaque aos olhos ou à pele, seja verão ou inverno.

Para além da cor perfeita, que não é muito escura nem muito clara, e do balanço de tons quentes e frios, existe ainda a vantagem de este batom ter acabamento mate. Ele é muito confortável, aguenta nos lábios e tem a vantagem extra de conseguirem aplicá-lo com mais ou menos intensidade dependendo da vossa vontade.

This is officially my favourite of MAC lipstick. After 4 years my Brave lipstick has been dethroned from its place, and now it’s time for Honeylove to live in my handbag.

Honeylove is really a nude (or beige as the brand admits), it’s not a “your lips but better” shade like Brave. Usually I have a hard time finding good nude shades, especially lighter ones, but this one looks really good on my skin. It’s a great match for those looks in which we want to add attention to the eyes or the skin, no matter what time of the year.

Apart from the perfect colour, which is not too dark or too light, and the balance of warm and cool tones, there is another bonus: the matte finish. It’s a very comfortable lipstick, that holds well on the lips and has the extra advantage of being able to be fully applied or just dabbed with tapping motions for a sheer wash, depending on your will.

Há uns anos comprei o Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick na cor 02 Matte Blush, que era conhecido por ser um dupe do Honeylove. Na minha opinião, eles não são assim tão parecidos. Se procuram uma alternativa ao Honeylove experimentem o Bare With Me da Wet n Wild, que apesar de ser mais escuro, tem a tonalidade mais parecida.

A few years ago I bought the Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick in the shade 02 Matte Blush, which was known to be a Honeylove dupe. In my opinion, they are not that much alike. If you are looking for an alternative to Honeylove, try Bare With Me from Wet n Wild, which, despite being darker, has the closest tone.

Quando vi esta paleta na BeautyBay por 21€ pensei que era o meu dia de sorte.

Já tinha visto fotos dela no instagram, e fiquei logo desejosa em ter os 3 iluminadores best sellers da marca para testar, mas como esta marca é tipicamente cara, rapidamente meti a ideia de parte e comecei a sonhar com outros produtos.

Afinal estava na BeautyBay por um preço que, pensei eu, era adequando. Fiz a compra em dois minutos e fiquei a esperar pelos meus iluminadores novos. Passaram-se 7 meses e praticamente não lhe toquei.

When I saw this palette on BeautyBay for 21 € I thought it was my lucky day.

I had already seen photos of it on Instagram, making me really looking forward to owning the 3 best sellers of the brand to test, but since this brand is typically expensive, I quickly got over it and started day dreaming about other products.

However, it was on BeautyBay for a price that, I thought, was fitting. I made the purchase in two minutes and waited for my new highlighters. Seven months later and I hardly touched them.

Reza a lenda que existiu um iluminador da MAC chamado Whisper of Guilt que deixou meio mundo obcecado. O iluminador mais lindo e perfeito, completamente dourado, que todas nós precisamos para nos sentirmos completas.

Um dos dupes mais famosos do WoG é o Gilded Honey da Laura Geller, e é a razão pela qual a marca é conhecida hoje em dia. A coleção tem mais cores, incluído a Ballerina e o Peach Glow que se tornaram famosos por voarem das prateleiras enquanto a irmã dourada continuava fora de stock. A marca adicionou no último ano mais dois à coleção, o Diamond Dust e o Charming Pink e não têm sido tão falados.

Como makeup addict que sou nem pensei 2 vezes na compra que fiz… boy was I stupid. Fiz a mesma coisa com as manas Lou-Manizer do The Balm. Existe uma coleção de 3, então preciso dos 3. NOPE. Eu sou branca que nem papel, seja verão ou inverno, eu ou sou pálida ou muito pálida, então nunca vou usar 3 tons de iluminadores destinados a 3 tons de pele diferentes.

Legend has it that once upon a time, there was a MAC highlighter called Whisper of Guilt. It was so unique that left half the world obsessed. It was the most beautiful and perfect shade of gold and we all had to own it to feel complete.

One of WoG's most famous dupes is Laura Geller's Gilded Honey, and highlighter is the reason why the brand is known today. The collection has more shades, including Ballerina and Peach Glow who became famous for flying off the shelves while the golden sister remained out of stock. The brand added two more highlighters to the collection in the last year, Diamond Dust and Charming Pink, but they haven’t been so widely spoken.

As makeup addict that I didn’t even thought twice about the purchase I made ... boy was I stupid. I did the same thing with The Balm's Lou-Manizer sisters. There is a collection of 3, so I need all 3. NOPE. I am white as paper, from summer to winter I am pale or very pale, so I will never use 3 shades of highlighters intended for 3 different skin tones.

A minha opinião do produto é que ele é bom. A cor fica ligeiramente mais clara na pele do que a que conseguem ver na paleta, o brilho é lindo e aguenta no rosto sem desaparecer instantaneamente como com outros iluminadores. Mas não é nada de revolucionário, nada que já não exista nas outras marcas.

Só consigo usar o peach glow, as outras posso tentar dizer que vou usar como sombras, mas o que não me faltam são sombras cobre e douradas.

My opinion of the product is that it is good. The colour is slightly lighter on the skin than they can see on the palette, the brightness is beautiful and hangs on the face without disappearing instantly as with other illuminators. However, it is nothing revolutionary, nothing that doesn’t exists in other brands.

I can only use the peach glow, the others I can try to say that I will use as eye shadows, but I don’t need more copper and gold shadows.

Ai Nars. Como me roubas o coração e a carteira. Esta foi a compra que fiz para comemorar a sua chagada a Portugal no mês de Junho.

Se vocês viram o meu post sobre a paleta de 15 sombras quentes da MAC (ou MAC eyeshadow X15 warm neutral palette se quiserem ser exatas), sabem que eu disse que não ia comprar a nova paleta da Nars… pelos vistos não resisti.

If you've seen my post on the MAC's 15 warm eyeshadow palette (or MAC eyeshadow X15 warm neutral palette if you want to be exact), you know I said I wasn’t going to buy the new Nars palette... Well, apparently, I could not resist.

Ela é linda e compacta com 12 sombras de uma fórmula nova que pode ser usada seca ou molhada. Quando a vi na Sephora, com swatches numa mão e um cupão de 20% de desconto na outra, eu acabei por ceder.

Temos 5 mates (windsor, dover, foix, castille e montaillou), 4 shimmers (newbury street, privilege alnwick e reale), e 3 metálicos (breaumaris, splendor, versailles) que são verdadeiramente brilhantes e intensos. Os mates são macios e esfumam-se sozinhos (com a exceção do montaillou que é o mais seco). Os satins são lindos de morrer e igualmente bons. São mesmo sombras incríveis que merecem toda a hype na blogosfera.

It’s a beautiful and compact palette with 12 shadows in a new formula that can be used wet or dry. When I saw it on Sephora, with swatches in one hand and a 20% off coupon on the other, I finally gave in.

We have 5 mattes (windsor, dover, foix, castille e montaillou), 4 satins (newbury street, privilege alnwick e reale) and 3 metallic shades (breaumaris, splendor, versailles) that are truly bright and intense. The mattes are soft and blend themselves (with the exception of the driest montaillou). The satins are to die for and equally good. These are incredible shadows that deserve all the hype in the blogosphere.

Se não conseguirem a agarrar na Sephora (já que não temos esta marca em todas as lojas), podem sempre comprar na loja europeia oficial por 45€.

Agora posso vos prometer que não vou comprar a Naked Heat da Urban Decay (o mesmo não posso dizer se a Nars lançar outra palette tão gira quanto esta… seja de sombras ou de blushes). O que acham desta paleta? Já a agarraram?

If you can’t get a hold of this palette at Sephora (since they don’t carry this brand in all stores), you can always buy at the official European store for € 45.

Now I can promise you that I'm not going to buy Naked Heat from Urban Decay (I can’t say the same if Nars releases another palette as gorgeous as this ... doesn’t matter if it’s eyeshadows or blushes). What do you think of this palette? Did you already got it?
